I suppose if you only purchase things that work, they might be okay. However, we got a defective printer from them. We dealt with the Manufacturer who agreed to take it back. We explained we didn't have the original packaging - no problem. They informed Ingram. Because we didn't have the box for the printer (and it was large), my husband drove an hour to drop it off at Ingram - gave them the RMA and any other paperwork required. It was accepted. 2 days later a courier company is on our doorstep with the most pathetically packaged printer, box was damaged and falling apart! We refused shipment and emailed Ingram and the manufacturer right away and told them to not send it back to us and get it straightened out. After 1 1/2 months we have fought for a credit. They gave us a new RMA number after being told we didn't accept it, but because we refused the delivery we were unable to include that new RMA number on the box going back. Therefore Ingram said because we refused the RMA we lose the credit and the printer!!! Again we contacted the manufacturer who has been rather supportive through all of this. Ingram then passed it on to Management for an "exception"?!# Well, they agreed to give us a credit, but only if we agree to pay a 20% restocking fee because we don't have the original packaging. This was never discussed, the manufacturer said they'd take it back without the box. Ingram is just trying to get a cash grab ... I mean, really, why would they stock a defective printer? It is supposed to go back to the manufacturer who has promised them a full credit. They must be really hard up for cash to try to do everything they can to screw us out of ... less than $500! Again, we have put it in the hands of the Manufacturer and hope they'll cover the 20% restocking fee. So ... beware. On the upside, Tech Data took back the printer cartridges and paid us full credit. Tech Data is awesome, we are dumping Ingram and only using Tech Data from now on. And, Tech Data doesn't charge a fee to use them ...
