I am in the process of filing a complaint with consumer affairs. If you have been mistreated by this company like MANY have, I recommend you do not take it lying down. You have every legal right to sue or file complaints with the BBB and Consumer Protection Ontario who have a easy form to fill out on their website to get them investigated. Read these reviews below (as well as yelp, yellowpages, BBB, etc) and see that MANY people have been duped and disrespected by the store manager at this location. He is putting the reputation of this organization at risk, which is a shame seeing as they could be very helpful to many people if they were more honourable. Please help others to not be mistreated by this company. To the actual owners of this company, I suggest you take a good look at your store manager and ask him some real questions. He is doing the company a disservice and I can guarantee you an investigation will put these practices to a halt. I hope having him in charge is worth it. I have tangible evidence that I will be providing to Consumer Protection Ontario on his treatment of his customers.

Bought a new TV stand with mounting, Insignia speaker and DeLonghi fryer. Got good service from Phil. Most of the stuff is Best Buy floor models but they have some new stuff as well. The prices were good but as is the case with any shopping, it is a good idea to check prices on-line since all sales are final at this place.

I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Our second experience with Hi tech world, the first time was on March when we bought a LG 70'' 4K TV from this company with 40% off of the retail price I call it a good deal, again we decided to visit the warehouse to replace our washer machine that broke last week.
Hawaii from the sale team was so helpful and got us an additional discount from the original sale price.
The whole experience was great.

I bought a new screen for my laptop ASUS X553M from Hi tech World to replace my broken LED screen, the tech guy Steve helped me replacing the old screen no additional labour charge, I was quote at Source $75.00 for labour + $90.00 for new screen.
At Hi Tech World I only paid $70.00 total with HST and my screen was replaced within 15 mins, great place to get a deal

A+ Great deal, my wife was a need for a new washer machine we were desperate get a deal for a replacement.We saw an add on Kijiji, with this company we got a good deal with a delivery and our old washer was pick up with no charge. I will definitely refer this company.

I was pins for a stove for my tenant , I called Hi-Tech World on Saturday Just before the company closing hour, I spoke to Hawaii she went above to help me get my stove delivered next day Sunday at noon.
Even Best Buy can't make that faster service.

My husband and I bought a set of a floor model LG appliances from this company, the customer service was great and also got a free delivery and our old appliances was removed from our home with no extra cost.

This Company is not even worth one star rating. I dealt with and I use the word loosely a gentleman by the name of Phil. I purchased a corner TV stand and was told everything is in the box. When I opened it up at home two of the three pieces of glass were missing. I had called Phil on many occasions finally gave up and waited for him to call me back. You think you did?. Of course not. He told me to bring the stand back after I had set it up and I live in the downtown core so it was not terribly convenient for me to do so. I ended up ordering the two pieces of glass from Cora living at an additional cost of $107 and want nothing else to do with this jerk Phil. I don't care if you're buying a five dollar item from these people I would stay away from them like the plague. I was in business for 53 years and never ever have I encountered poor customer service like this. Stay away from this company no matter what the price

I had issues with the appliance I bought, but Phil went above and beyond to get it sorted out.

Purchased fridge , wanted full payment up front, after 8 weeks no delivery, hired delivery company to deliver at my own cost. Fridge does not cool, water dispenser leaks, missing drawers inside. Advertising manufacturer warranty, guess what? Not valid because he is not authorized retailer. Call consumer protection, lets get this company closed down.

!! WARNING !! Do yourself a favor - DO NOT LEAVE A DEPOSIT - you will not get your money back and if you get what you ordered, it will not be what you expected. Do not do business with this company!! John is a scammer and has no customer service skills. He does not answer calls and lies to you about when you can expect your product, or he will avoid you. You will never get a refund. They start off treating you nice and then treat you with no respect. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. They should be charged with fraud. I placed a deposit for an appliance and its been over a month and nothing... John is avoiding my calls and if he does answer, he hangs up after yelling at me. He claims it will take 60 days for a refund and it makes no sense because I paid my deposit to him in cash! This has been the worst and most stressful experience I have ever dealt with in my life. This company has been reported to the Better Business Bureau 6 times and they do not respond!!! Ridiculous

Keep up the good work Hi-Tech World, Canada Staff. Great customer service, and no default on any of my appliances I've purchased from you guys. Excellent work. It's been over a year since I bought my appliances and they still work perfectly.
