Primetime Computers, Maple Ridge Reviews (7)
We have been customers of PRIMETIME COMPUTERS since 2007, and we have never had a bad experience. They are courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. They give us honest service and do the best they can to give us the best price possible. They have always quoted us an accurate price, and notified us as the job progressed if there were any hiccups. I once took my daughter's computer to where we bought it (Staples) and had nothing but headaches with the repair and delays. Never again. Now we take all our computers to Tom and Russ, without a moments hesitation. And they always deliver on their word.

I have been using PrimeTime computers for many years. They have been servicing my mom's computer as well. They have been professional, good value, and pretty quick with their service. I will be continuing to use them.
I have had several computers in to Primetime. I have 3 kids and computers have been damaged often. Primetime has fixed or replaced our lap tops and I pod [screens] quickly and with great service. They are willing to work with customers so they get exactly what they need. Every experience has been very positive and Primetime is who I highly recommend to everyone for all there computer needs.
I brought my daughters 3DS gaming console into Prime Time to get the larger screen replaced in October. My daughter was leaving the country for 2 months and we hoped to get it done before she left. They couldn't get the part in in time, so I said I would return beginning of December and get it done then. They quoted me $60-. I brought it in last week and they gave me a printout saying 'quoted $60-' right on it. Now they have done the repair and are saying the cost is $135- plus taxes. They are saying that it was me that said the quote was $60- and the sales guy just put it on the printout! Why in the world would I pay $135- for a repair on a $200- dollar item?? Terrible shady business...
I had a desktop computer built by prime time. The hard drive failed after three months. They replaced the hard drive but then it continued to fail at exactly one year intervals. They replaced the hard drive but charged labor to swap it out.At three years old the network card quit working followed shortly by the power supply. What a piece of garbage.
Consumer beware! I took my computer in to Prime Time to find out what was wrong with it, and specifically asked the clerk to call me with a diagnosis and estimate on what it would cost to fix. I opted for the priority service ($100/hr) and he assured me he would look at it right away and call me with the information. Two days later I got a call saying they had installed a new hard drive and operating system. When I went in to get it I found that they had installed a hard drive that was 4 times bigger and more expensive than the one I had, and a different OS than the one i'd been running (thereby deleting all my installed programs) - all without consulting me. When I asked the clerk why I had not been notified before hand of the problem as agreed, or even given a choice as to which hard drive and OS I would like to purchase before it was installed, his answer was (and i quote) "we service hundreds of computers here, I don't have time for that". Apparently my choices were to pay the almost $400 tab, or "i'll rip it out and you can have it back the way you brought it in". I proceeded to try and ask him some simple questions about service and warranty and parts, and was immediately interrupted with short, rude replies and an extremely arrogant attitude. I was basically flat-out told 'We don't need or value your business'. This has been an expensive lesson, but one thing is for sure - Prime Time will never get my business again, and I will go out of my way to relay my experience to others so they won't have to find out about this companys questionable way of doing business the hard way, like I did, or be subjected to the surly, dismissive attitude of it's employees. UPDATE - Feb 28, 2011: PRIMETIME DIGITAL REFUSES TO COOPERATE WITH THE BBB. The Better Business Bureau has received no response to their request for information from Primetime Digital, and has given this company their lowest rating of 'F'. Do you really want to trust your computer to people who hide from the BBB, and won't even own up to their sketchy business practices?
Condescending, rude and arrogant are the BEST words I can sue for this place.
My daughter took her computer in 6 weeks ago- they replaced the hard drive. She paid for a new hard drive, Within 6 weeks it was gone. She returned, knowing it was under warranty. The treatment she received form the employee was nothing less than despicable. He even whined to her that "he came in at 7 JUST to fix her computer" (umm...whose problem is that!?)
I love to support small business and it's always my first choice. Apparently this business has trillions in the bank and doesn't NEED our support. Their lack of customer service skills is a dead giveaway that they're not in any need of our patronage.

*use- not "sue".
apparently you got the same useless employee I did...the one who needs a serious attitude adjustment, and a lesson in manners.
