Signa employs a number of fine people who have been with Greg and Chen for many years and this staff longevity is also a measure of trust and quality of management. Jack, Carolina, Jason Nick, and the rest of the team provide a great balance of experience and availability and that provides the backbone for great service. They are all wonderful people who treat customers like neighbours.
Over the years, I have had Signa perform repairs on PCs, add upgrade components to PCs, and provide software. One year ago, Greg and Jack configured a new desktop PC for me. I already had a powerful notebook and was fussy about configuration options for the desktop. The new PC had to be much faster. Greg and Jack were very patient considering that I was a bit demanding. We settled on a configuration and a price and to this day I am amazed at the performance of this PC ~ in all respects. By providing me with a better than expected motherboard, I inherited really handy features that I had never contemplated. Twelve months later, I still love this PC.
I have also purchased smart phones from Signa and have been very pleased. My Samsung Note 8 was offered as ‘like-new’, but hundreds of dollars less than new. After taking deliver of the Note8, I discovered that original packaging included a few accessories that hadn’t come with this gently used phone. I told Greg and, even though he lived up to his end of the bargain, he voluntarily sourced every last item for me. He provided these items to me at no extra cost. He didn’t have to do this but in the spirit of ‘great’ service, he went the extra mile. I know it was an effort to source these accessories, and in hindsight, they were not something I should have fussed about. I was certainly grateful, but also at a loss for words for expressing my gratitude. A few months later, the phone ran into a serious operational issue, but Greg resolved that problem immediately. The phone was ‘offline’ a couple of days, (Greg offered a loaner) and when retuned my phone truly “like new”. He did all this with a willingness to please and no questions asked.
Some day I’ll have Signa Service Techs come to my home for in-home service just so I can experience this part of their business, but I live so close I usually drop in to the store with my devices. It’s more fun to drop into the shop and chat ~ just like good neighbour do.
There are many other stories about the support and backing Greg has provided to me, and to other customers. The bottom line is TRUST. After 25 years of consistently good service, Signa Computer Systems has earned the trust of customers.
