We recently purchased a compressor motor from Compressor Services Ltd. and we were told the item we wanted was $120. When we showed up to pick it up, we were charged $250, but, we needed it, so we purchased it anyways. It came in a brand new box, so we assumed it was brand new.
When we opened the box we discovered that the parts had been replaced with old parts, and the unit did not work.
Compressor Services Ltd told us to courier the defective merchandise to them and they would credit us.
Decided to return the item in person (one day after we had purchased it), and were told that they would absolutely not take it back.
So, $250 for a defective, old product that was sold to us in a new box.
