Mongell Tire was founded in 1957 in Connellsville, PA by Dominic Mongell along with his father, Anthony Mongell, and brother, Paul Mongell. In 1963 a second store was opened and Dom's brother Paul started working full time at the store. In the late 1970's Paul's son Jim joined the company. 10 years later Jim's brother Brian joined the family business. Today the company consists of approximately 10 employees, Managed by both Brian at the Connellsville location, and Jim at our Scottdale store. For the past 55 years our customers have been number one at Mongell Tire! Recapping is available for medium truck and light trucks, manufactured on site in our Connellsville location.
