With pro bono participation from amateur and professionnel artists, the comic book store La Boîte à B.D. created an exclusive comic book that will be handed for free to every visitors on May 5th, 2012. https://www.facebook.com/events/216831665088775/
The goal of this project is to bring artists and readers closer to one another and discover new styles. This 52 pages black and white comic book has 29 short stories of different genre, in french or in english. Each page was produced by an amateur or by a québécois, canadian, french or americain professional. TOP COW, a great americain comic book company, also contributed to the project of the little comic book shop of Québec! http://www.topcow.com/
Every contributor could give existing material or create as they like while they followed only one restriction : This comic is for all ages. Some were inspired by our store and the character of our logo, The JohnnyComix. Others presented their own creations. One artist (Dale Eaglesham) took the opportunity to promote an event for a charity organisation.
