Worst customer service ever.dont trust the financial advisors there.especially Allan!!!!they ll look you in the eye to say one thing and then do something totally different.

I bought a roll of loonies yesterday for 25.00.
When I opened the roll, I discovered 24 loonies and a dime..... unreal!

Thank you Marika and Oliver (managers for Branch # 1579) for taking prompt action regarding my complaint. Accepting the fault and rectifying it right away is what great customer service is all about. This branch is definitely a role model for other branches. I'm glad be a TD Canada customer.

I just got off the phone with Steven. I received a bill for a service that I did not think I should have to pay. He told me right away what kind of account I have and how I would not have to pay the fee. He said he would direct the information to the teller who changed my account and have the fee waived.

Very impressive and fast service. Thanks

I have been with TD all my life and now, I am just tired of them. I recently made an interac online purchase on a separate website, the money was taken form my account but the order wasnt completed. I called TD and they said well we will file a claim which could take 30 days and they advised to call the separate company who owned the site. I called them and they confirmed the bank had take my money and they sent their own final transactions to prove it. I went back to the bank and they told me oh yes we were having interac problems that day...but we will still have to file a claim that will take 30 days. So here i am my money in limbo and i proved they took it but still they file a claim. If you like the run around and not getting your money back, by all means deal with TD.

I have had numerous issues over the course of many years with this bank which always turns into me wasting my time and never any satisfactory resolutions.
Most recently the bank took $100 from my account. When I inquire they do not respond to emails, there are lengthy waits on the phone and no satisfaction on my part as a customer. Apparently now I am waiting for a "letter in the mail." Reason: "more secure than the website"??!!
Also this year I ordered some foreign currency that was sent to the wrong branch. I never received a phone call saying that it was at the bank, had to go to a distant branch to get the money, and of course, no apology.
I will be moving every penny I have from this bank with the terrible customer service. After 25 years of doing business with them I cannot bear any more of the frustration they cause me.
Nothing has ever gone Easily with them.

TD Bank has helped me deal with my banking WITHOUT anxiety. I don't care about their fees or interest because their customer service is so amazing. I can go online and do everything I need, but I choose to call them for all my banking needs because they are just so soothing and welcoming. The way they say "Miss Doe" before every sentence, or when they ask me about my weekend, or make a small joke...they are polite, easy-going, and always looking to save me money. If I go into a branch all the tellers are the same...I've never dealt with a sour employee. It's like each time I walk up to the teller I'm their first customer of the day. And last week I was given a greeting card that said Thanks, just to say thanks for my business. I love them!!! I would NEVER switch to another bank just for lower fees or interest.

I have dealt with Scotia Bank and TD at the same time. It was day and night difference when it came to treating customers.

Our credit Scores are 765+ for the past 10 years, yet the bank insisted holding our pay checks for 5 days, Despite having account with them for 13 years with not one OD transaction. The reason given was that our credit rating could be bad. After hearing it for the 5th time, I have severed all ties with the bank.

On the other hand scotia bank and rbc did not have a problem even lending us for a vacation home in the US.

I love TD bank. Really, I do. I dont like going into their branches. I dont like the interest they charge me each month. I dont like that sweet way they always say, "Katherine, you have been pre-approved for a credit increase/overdraft increase/obscene increases in debt." But I love, LOVE, when I have to call them on the phone. Will I ever sign up for the automated telephone banking? NO! Talking to the people at TD's call centre is much like (I think...) calling one of those telephone dating services (sans creepy sexual advances). They are so helpful, friendly, and you get the feeling that they are all very attractive!
