I ordered the beef biscuit sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was crowded, but I was surprised that the service only took about three minutes!
Always a pleasant experience, the best beef brisket sandwich in town, hands down. They used to warm up the bread in the early days which made it even yummier, but these days they use room temperature bread. I wish they could warm it up to make a 6 star sandwich
The best sandwich I have had in a long time!
The bun was fresh and fluffy. The BBQ sauce with caramelized onions delectable. The pull pork NO WORDS. Will be thinking about that sandwich for some time.
Very good options for meat and veggie. Will visit again!

Such a great sandwich. I like the pulled pork.
The best sandwich shop in Toronto!🥪🇨🇦🍁
I worked here for over two years, a couple of years ago, so I can confidently say how amazing this place is.
As everyone knows, they make the best brisket, steak, chicken, and pork sandwiches. Everything is homemade, including all the toppings and sauces even the coleslaw and chili! Once you realize how much time and effort goes into making these, you’ll understand why the prices are more than fair.
Also, I know from experience they’re really wonderful people. I still remember how much I enjoyed working here:) it was truly a great experience!

This hidden gem nestled just across the street from Rosedale station is an amazing spot to grab a quick bite. I've had two sandwiches there already, (Chicken Club & BBQ Brisket) and was tremendously satisfied both times.
The sandwiches are the perfect size and quantity. I was full both times and am definitely going back here again to try another sandwich.
The speed of preparation is so quick I barely have a chance to check my phone, and the staff are polite and friendly. If you're hungry and looking for a new spot to try, I would highly recommend this diamond in the rough.

Got recommended this place by a friend and it surpassed my expectations. The brisket was amazing and the service was outstanding, I can’t wait to come back!
Edit: editing my review after months of continuous patronage. The price to quantity disparity is just too big for me. I always buy the brisket but it doesn’t fill me up at all and im not a big eater - ill be full off a big mac meal at mcdonalds for comparison.
I expect to be full after paying 15$ for a sandwich but last time i was looking for a second place to eat after finishing my brisket. Sorry, not acceptable and indicator of lack of respect for your customers.

Had this bookmarked for years. Finally got to try them out. Sandwhiches are so good. We absolutely devoured the beef brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. There's not much seating. About 2 small tables inside and couple outside on the patio. Takes about 10 minutes. We went on a Sunday of a long weekend and there wasn't much of a line up.
Delicious beef brisket sandwiches at black camel, though the menu lacks vegetarian options and charges extra for basic toppings like tomato and pickles. The pricing appears high considering the portion sizes. However, with some adjustments such as including toppings in the sandwich price and revising the pricing structure, the overall dining experience could be significantly improved.
beware that there's not much seating area/tables for dine-in.

Had a lovely experience here. Tried the brisket and the pulled pork. Both were good but my favorite was the brisket with bbq sauce. They have a fantastic bun with their sandwich. A nice selection of coffee items and a very cool vintage espresso machine. Good food at a descent price and portion size.
Great bbq sandwiches.... brisket was excellent, chicken very good. Friendly service. Great place for a quick delicious lunch or to pick up sandwiches for a picnic.
We ordered steak sandwiches for lunch today, and they were delicious. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in years
Stumbled upon this place by accident. What a find. Great food. Large portions. Nice staff. Well managed. And the food was fresh, not greasy or oily and had some kick to it as well. Highly recommend. Affordable and large portions. Great place for family sharing. Hakka dishes were excellent.
Superb brisket and pulled pork on nice buns with great sauce. It’s not cheap, but it’s kinda worth it. Grab a sandwich and head across to the park. Excellent quality. Tasty.
Yes it is a hole in the wall and yeah the sandwiches were good but we don't get the hype about the "BEST" sandwiches ever reviews. The buns although tasty were huge and the small serving of brisket i had was 50/50 meat/fat and my wife's veggie sandwich had a sparing amount of veggies hidden under all that bread. The cost was way over what we felt the meal should have cost; $28 for two sandwiches with a Perrier and Peligrino, the value just wasn't there to off set the so-so meal. Either lower prices or more ingredients please. Might try it again but won't go out of way as there are too many other places to try.
