Korea House

True to its name, this restaurant houses only authentic Korean cuisine. It doesn't pad or "thai up" the menu with other Asian offerings. Hence, you'll find lots of kinchee (sweet and sour side dishes), as well as signature entrees like kalpi (barbecue beef short ribs) and beebimpat (rice topped with five kinds of vegetables, beef, fried egg and hot pepper paste). All meals can be washed down with a glass of beer or soju, a Korean liquor. Authentic crafts line the walls, plants hang in the window, and despite the slightly sinister address (didn't anyone see The Omen?), the ambience is heavenly.--Glenn Sumi
