James John Hennessey, Jr.

At one time he may have been the greatest zoning attorney in the State of New York. He was certainly in the top three. from 1985 until 1993. He was very good at Legislation, and Civil Service Law as well. He was a featured speaker throughout the State of New York and really took off when he was on Closed Circuit Television. In my life time I can only think of one, two, and possibly three attorneys that might have been better when Mr. Hennessey first started. Two of them are now deceased and one is retired. Unfortuanately for the people of the State of New York, Mr. Hennessey retired in his late 50s, about ten years ago. He published the first truly comprehensive article on Building Moratoria and nothing has come close since that time.
