If you understand and appreciate the cuisines from different parts of the Indian sub-continent, you will know that 80% of the restaurants in the GTA are North Indian, especially Punjabi(eg Bombay Palace, The Host etc) Their food tends to be greasy and heavy. Once you try some real good food from other parts of India, you won't go there again.
The Tandoori Times is a Pakistani restaurant, and their food is lighter, but really tasty and delicious. And always freshly made. We go there once a month from our office, we love it. It's worth trying out once. Only problem -they don't serve alcohol! So try the mango lassi!

Additional business details
The Tandoori Time concept is designed to take advantage of the changing trends and the popularity of the South Asian cuisines, culture and music. Given the fast pace of North American life and move towards more casual approach to life and dress customers expect quick service in a contemporary casual setting. However the food must be healthy, made from fresh and premium quality ingredients and reasonably priced. Equally important is that North Americans having become accustomed to eating at Pizza Hut, McDonalds etc expect consistency in taste and quality from day to day and from restaurant to restaurant.
