I'm not one to usually write reviews but the experience I had here was just awful and I never want to go through that again!!

I walked into this location and dropped a few dollars short of 5K. The sales person was awesome (of course they are they are selling me something and working on commission) , helped me pick out everything I needed.

Everything up until getting my stuff was pretty good. I got my stuff delivered shortly a couple days later by their private delivery people because they were too booked that day for their normal brick delivery people.

They came and set up my 7 piece bedroom set, new mattress and dropped the TV off. They quickly took the top off the box and said i had to look at it before they left, as they were rushing out my door because they were very behind schedule. They also told me they couldn't really "legally touch it" so they left. I work 7 days a week so it wasn't until exactly one week after that I was able to have somebody come and install my tv on my wall mount. The TV was still in its original packaging sitting on the floor exactly where they left it, how they left it...... the TV is a 55" LED which is super heavy. I weigh 115 lbs so there was no way I could even move that thing. We took it out of the Styrofoam and box and hung it up and then i saw this little glare thought it was just an air bubble from the plastic wrap that comes when you first buy it..... NOPE cracked screen. Called them and they told me I had to talk to the warranty company. Callled the warranty company they said that it doesn't cover if there's scratches or cracks and they could send a a tech to come look at it but I would prob have to pay for that and the parts and labor! Called the brick back and spoke with the manager who told me if I had called within 3 days they would replace it no problem. They sent me a broken tv and the extra money shelfed out for the warranty, didn't cover it. All they did was keep giving me the run around. Call the warranty people..... call the manufacturer..... we can't do anything blah blah blah. Why would I call the manufacturer when THE BRICK sold me a broken TV!!! I'm a girl so they did not care about what I had to say what so ever and pretty much told me there was nothing I could DO so I would be out $800 after I just spent $5000 there!!!!! Honestly the whole ordeal was soooooo upsetting, if it were not for my boss going there and threatening them I would be totally S.O.L. (My boss has lots of connections in the media) I've read about the brick and their warranties and all the reiews and it seems that this is something that happens ALL THE TIME. My awesome customer service ended when they got full payment for my order......When we went to get the new one we got no apology, no nothing, the guy barely even said one word to us..... ALL IN ALL this place is by far the worst company i've ever had to deal with! Not to mention an elder lady was looking for a garbage can to put her paper cup in and the lady behind the desk gave her the dirtiest look and said "oh, we don't have a garbage back here...." the poor lady was just wanting to throw her garbage IN THE garbage, so she said fine,i guess i'll just put it in my pocket..... like REALLY nobody there gives 2 shits!!!!

When I went to claim my warranty money, I immediately got denied and shut down even though they confirmed several times last month and this month that it was still valid until the next month. Went to another Brick and they checked their computer for us, told us it's still valid, then purchased an item with the credit without any problems.

Avoid this place!!

If I could give this a 0, I most definitely would.

By far, the worst experience I have ever had in a furniture store. I bought a $300 4 yr extended warranty plan on our TV called the "Full Circle Protection Plan" which essentially refunds the $300 amount back, in your choice of any furniture or mattress if no warranty claims were made during the 4 yrs. I went to redeem the warranty credit and was immediately denied. We had visited the store many times to confirm the validation of the warranty credit and was told it is still redeemable. But when we actually found something we liked to purchase, they immediately told us it can't be redeemed because it "expired". Worst part is, they were the same people from the customer service desk that we asked to confirm the validity who denied our redemption of our credit.

I was so excited to go shopping for my new place. I purchased a bedroom suite and sectional. I was told I would have to pay 100.00 for them to put my bed together. I was able to get the manager Angela to take this off our first bill, or so I thought. It hasn't been taken off she doesn't work there anymore, the sales person that I bought from says he doesn't remember this agreement. So I phone the new manager and tell him my situation, he said he would get back to me, that he couldn't just give away 100.00. After what I spent on the furniture, really!!!!!!,, well you have lost me as a customer, your service is very unprofessional.

horrible, horrible service , staff is rude, I bought a bedroom suite mid-may. I was told it will be available end of May. The Bed was delivered twice, LATE, end of June, head board broken. The 3rd time the Brick delivered the bed, installation was not done properly the bed broke. It's a month and a half later I still don't have my bed and I am getting a run around from customer care and delivery department. I have sent pictures of the broken bed twice to call centre, no body is calling me back. It has been a FRUSTRATING time for me. I will never deal with Brick even if they were giving furniture for free away. The staff is so RUDE, unbelievable. I would advise people go elsewhere.

I went to the brick and spent 2200$ on a couch! In this economy that is a lot of money to spend so you'd expect some customer service and quality for that money, however at the brick there was none of this! We waited over a month for our couch and by the time it came it was missing half the prices to the sectional. After 2 weeks of calling them to find out when it would come and having them give me dates that came and went to drop it off, I had enough. At this point they finally admitted that the couch no longer is manufactured and we weren't getting it. There solution was to give us a new couch, but that one was completely different and didn't fit when they sent it, so after giving them a third chance, this guy mike offered me a more expensive couch for a lot less. I was happy until they called me to finalize the delivery and told me that to would actually have to give them 200$ more! I demanded to speak to mike who said the number he gave me was before a bunch of bogus fees! So there solution was to lie to get me to spend more! This place shouldnt be allowed to gouge people like they do! If you are thinking of going there DONT! Fake service to charge you as much as possible till ur out the door then they just dont care

The ABSOLUTE WORST furniture shopping experience in my life!
We bought a sofa and tv and the manager promised us that if we found it cheaper elsewhere they would match the price. 2 days later we found the tv for $100 less at future shop and went back to get the discount. The manager took us into his office (so that he could hide what he was about to do from all the other customers) and basically admitted that he lied and blamed it on US. I was furious and went to the customer service area to tell the other customers about what happened. The manager threatened to call the police! I told him that the police won't fix the problem for lying to his customers. We didn't think it was worth the trouble anymore so we left. NEVER BUY from the BRICK again!

What a horrible experience. I bought 55 Chaird from the Brick and they ended up being some of the most poorly made chairs I have ever seen.

The Manager said they would exchange them, so I found chairs that were $30 cheaper. He then tells me he'll only charge me $30 a chair to exchange the chairs, like he's doing me a favour.

Don't ever buy from the Urban Brick on Granville St.

Placed a telphone order:

1. telephone representative gave an incorrect delivery date, probably to clinch the sale ... item was in fact not available until a month later

2. it took numerous calls to get order cancelled once we noted the above discrepancy ... reps and manager promised call backs, which did not materialize

Overall, a very negative and stressful experience.

Don't buy from the Brick. I have spent over $11,000 worth of furniture furnishing my whole house. The long line of dissatisfied customers at the cashiers should have warned me off from the very start. They messed up my orders repeatedly. A lot of finger pointing without anybody wanting to take the blame. The WORST THING? When the delivery men tried to move the sofas to my basement- They damaged the wall & caused 2 horrendous large holes and plenty of scratch marks. This was over 2 months ago. I have launched official complaints to their customer service & damage reports were filed. I have called their office over 20 times on when they will send over someone to fix the holes, but all they say is....it will be done in a week's time. Hello??? I have been waiting over 2 months.

Horrible Customer Service

Miscommunication is rife throughout the store

They know how to sweet talk you into buying their stuff, but after they get your money- hasta la vista.

Be warned!!! BOYCOTT THE BRICK.

We spent almost $2000.00 on a mattress set (+frame if we wanted the 10 year warranty) the first mattress came dirty, then they brought us another one that had cuts in the material from a utility knife...then...1 year later and the mattress has a huge dent in it in the middle, and the sides are all sloping down due to the springs not working anymore...so...then there is the warranty claim, like others this service is terrible...a man comes to your home, and then looks for any marks or stains on the mattress because if he sees the SMALLEST mark he told me that I WILL NOT get a new mattress...then he went on to tell me that if he signs the form saying that there is no marks on it, but the store sees any, HE has to pay for the mattress...I said 'That's not my problem, my mattress is my problem, and if you told me that you were NOT going to sign the form, I would then start the process of suing the Brick for an new mattress. These guys are professional rip-off artist's and I can't believe they are still in business...This mattress is bunk, and it cannot be resold no matter HOW MANY STAINS ARE ON IT!!! And the fact that they try to get away with NOT honoring their warranties is absolutely thievery!!! I am still waiting for the claim, they said they would call back 1 week ago, so now I have to call them...I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from these pirates again.

They want warranties on everything..then good luck getting a claim to go through when you paid for the warranty and and need something fixed!! They WILL find a reason to say you caused the damage and your warranty is VOID!! DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTIES>>SCAM

I purchased $2,300 worth of furniture. They screwed up on my delivery, continued to call the wrong number even though I gave them the correct one, delivered me a broken coffee table TWICE, forgot to include the dvd player in the order then later told me that I would have to pick it up as it is too small to deliver. On top of that I tried to exchange an item because it wouldn't fit in my apartment and they told me that once something is paid for it's a final sale...no returns or exchanges!! Everyone I talked to was extremely rude. DO NOT ever shop here, the customer service is horrible and the prodcuts are cheap garbage!

I bought a whirlpool washer dryer from there a few months back,I saw a manager, or boss (Short Indian man) berating an employee for offering a discount on a stove. This little jerk manager would be squashed by me if he talked to me the way he talked to his employee. This must be a horribble place to work,I feel sorry for there commisioned sales staff!
