don't bother buying extended protection from the Brick. They don't honour it anyway
Hands down THE WORST customer service and there's always something damaged or missing once you receive your order and they don't care to make it right even if you busy their bogus 'Extended Warranty'. I will NEVER order another peice of furniture or pillow or ANYTHING from any Brick anywhere because of this past experience. The manager at the time asked me to write a good review because they recognize they needed to improve and have... nope, worse. Save yourself the time and buy elsewhere. Theres a reason for so many negative reviews. If you buy, expect it to fall apart and live with your furniture with missing peices and dont expect to return or them to make it right. You won't get anything from them. Terrible. I believe in second chances but they blew it many times over. Wish I had believed the reviews rather than give them a second chance and be writing this bad experience now.
We ordered this dining table on December. We have been waiting this table for 5 months. We received today. When we opened the box, we were disappointed. Customer service don’t help us. Terrible service and quality. Don’t buy anything from the brick.
Bought and paid for furniture end of December. Now they are telling me they over sold furniture and have no date of delivery because manufacturer can't keep up. When we purchased furniture we were told we would get it by end of January, and it was in stock. After calling a couple times, the expected delivery date keeps getting pushed back. WARNING to all people purchasing products from the Brick, their sales people tell you one thing, without actually knowing what's happening. Talked to the sales manager the last time, and the only option I have is to reselect furniture that they have in stock. They cannot do anything else for me. Very frustrated with their service, wish I could go somewhere else to purchase new furniture.
don't buy furniture here it is poor quality and even if you get the extended warrantee they will do everything they can to get out of honouring it so don't waste your time

July 5 ordered furniture. The only piece to come in was the chair. August 7 my husband phoned to confirm. He’s on the phone for an hour, they can’t find the order. He gives them every number on the sales records. No cant find it. I phone it there. They load the trailer I asked where’s the love seat? The other half of the love seat isn’t there. Five minutes ago everything was here. Now I have to wait a week and a half and MAYBE the other half will be in. I’m an hour from the city and an hour home. Waste of time. They said they would take 200.00 if my brick card. Big deal they charge 149.00 to write the bill up. I’m not impressed.

WE had a great experience with Tina and felt very comfortable at all times.
Being on a wheelchair, it was very important to find a mattress to fit my needs, including the total height of mattresses and metal frame to be the same height of my wheelchair to make it easier to transfer.
I made a big mistake on the mattress size and Tina went out of her way to fix my mistake and still kept the promised date delivery.

We Bought a igloo upright freezer on the 19 th of june 2017, on the 22 nd of august it died.
I phoned the brick was told to we could get a replacement or repaired, so i said replacement would be fine.
Took it back to the store, ended up they have no placements they told me to repair I had to take it home again over an hour drive out side the city, then take a day off work losing wages for a service person to come and look at it as they want repair on site. they did offer me a chest freezer but thats no good as I don't have the room
They refuse to refund my money meanwhile I am out over 500 dollars in spoiled meat.
Offered me an instore credit for 1 year and for what I have know idea as I don't want to deal with them any more.
Stay away from them as they are not good for their word.

I recently purchased a dinning room table and chairs. The table and chairs were nice, however the leaf for the table had a bulge in it and didn't fit well with the table. The stain didn't adhere to the leaf where the bulge was and the veneer on the edge of the table was lifting off. It looks like there were moisture issues during manufacturing.
I made a complaint on-line with the brick and I got an automated response January 23, 2017 from the Brick that they would contact me within 2 business day and I got no response.
I made a second on-line complaint February 1, 2017, and the brick responded February 4, 2017 that they received my complaint and would try and respond within 2 business days and as of February 24, 2017, I have received no response from the Brick. I will never shop at The Brick again!

We purchased a dishwasher. Upon going to the website it askes you to select a location. Upon doing this you can shop. When selecting an item it tells you the date you can pick up the item. They don't tell you it not at the location you selected. It's at their main warehouse. Not at the warehouse of the location you have selected. The actual pickup at the location you selected can be up to a week later as the truck only goes over there once a week. BEWARE FALSE INFORMATION.

I bought a new bed from the brick on st.james on christmas eve was very expensive when i got it home i was putting it together when i noticed there was a bed bug in the rails box so i took the bed bug there on boxing day had a manager look at it he went back and fourth talking to whoever he was talking with and told me someone would call me.days went by and nobody called when i kept calling back i finally talked to another person who said he was the store manager i told him they should be posting something for the public to see or get someone in the factory where they make these beds to have the factory checked out (which is in winnipeg) plus i dont want anything except to exchange my bed for another one he said they wouldnt be doing that and seemed he didnt care about anything i was saying. i asked if they would pay for someones house to be cleaned if they gave a customer bed bugs again didnt care and didnt wanna discuss it anymore.i was very close to going to the news with this it was so gross to know i bought a bed from somewhere that didnt care about this issue at all.STAY AWAY FROM STORES LIKE THIS !!!!!
Extremely disorganized and unprofessional service (with the exception of one sales consultant). I will never purchase anything from this location again.
I really wish i would have read the reviews before buying furniture from The Brick. We bought a sectional, dining room table, and bedroom set. So far we have only received the table (no chairs), and our bedroom set finally came today (it was suppose to be delivered last week). The sectional is suppose to be in next week. We have waited almost 3 weeks for our furniture so far. The sales person told us ALL of our furniture would be put together for us, minus putting the headboard on the bed. They did put the table together but told us we have to put the bedroom furniture together ourselves.
We had to fight to get a 10% discount on our purchases. Needless to say we will NEVER be buying anything from The Brick again.

I'll never go back to the Brick. They've screwed up my last two orders, didn't deliver when they said they would, and the last time my couch showed up without legs, which they wouldn't courier out to me. I had to drive 70km to get them.
In addition to the worst customer service in the business, I've now been scammed by them twice with their claims of "No interest." Quite simply, it's false. The first time I discovered this was when I bought a chair and stove, which came in at just over $1000. I went for the "Do not pay" option, but went back and paid off the balance long before the period ended. Then, suddenly, a few months later I started getting daily phone calls from the TD saying I owed a balance on my account that was past due. It was a small amount, about $40 or so, which they described as "administrative fees." Read "interest." After two months of harassment I ended up paying it.
I should have learned my lesson... and now they've done it to me again. We bought $3000 worth of furniture, which ended up being crap, and once again I paid off the entire account months early. Now they're after me again for another $288. They claim the collection on the first amount defaulted my second "no interest" agreement, something they didn't mention when I bought my second load of furniture. And I was still charged an administrative fee up front for the "no interest no payment option. This is currently unresolved, but I can say with certainty it won't end well. I'm waiting for a call back from management, but they habitually hide behind the girls at the front desk.

Ordered furniture set, no one called when it was in. When we called them they stated it was in but even though we left a deposit they wouldn't hold it for us!? We go to pick it up. The desk area has one person working at it. One person ahead of us and took 40 minutes to wait. Once we went back to pick it up we waited another 25 minutes for them to get it. Not impressed. Customer service is a complete joke. Can't believe we wasted 2 hours of our lives to pick up something this should not happen! It's worth it to pay more and go elsewhere.
We went shopping to look for a mattress, appliances and a couch. We got everything delivered the next day. We saved so much money at The Brick because everywhere else was way more. The sales rep was knowledgeable.
We bought a mattress set. Reg $1700 but reduced half price. OK so far, but the box spring does not fit (stairs) a split box spring would now be the only option. Original full box spring was $72 tax included but the split spring is was over triple the price of the regular. Ended up going to mattress warehouse for a split box spring $149 all OK now.
I purchased a freezer from them and within 1 month of purchase, the freezer had 1 inch of snowy ice on two of the shelves, they send a person out, but he said that was normal. I phoned the maker of the freezer. on 2 occasions, they phoned the brick, and the service guy said because he had been out here . their was nothing he could do, unless it stopped working. (totally pissed off)I will never purchase anything from the Brick again,
We signed up for the brick card using the electronic signature. Later we found out that we are charged with payment protection plan, which we have no idea that we signed that insurance. They sent us a copy of the form that we 'allegedly signed', WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS the signature came from the electronic signature that my wife signed for the the card application and not for the insurance.
