One of my fav spots in the city. The food and the service have been consistently great. They have a good menu and a cute little patio upstairs as well as one downstairs. Can't really ask for much else!

Absolutely delicious! My favourite restaurant in Yorkville. The staff is friendly and efficient and neither the food or restaurant is pretentious.

My son and I were in Yorkville yesterday at lunch time. We were in search of a menu that would cater to his 13 year old taste buds, and my wallet. The first restaurant we checked out had a $25 corned beef sandwich, so we continued on. Then we came across Nervosa. Salads, pizzas, pastas and risottos - the menu satisfied his palate. Salads $6, pizzas $13 - price fit my budget.

It was a warm, sunny, day, and we would have liked to have sat on one the many patios, but we were too hungry to wait. If you have the time, it's worth the wait. I think I counted at least two upper patios, in addition to the large one at ground level. The upper ones are quaint and probably offer a better view.

The place was packed, and we were told that the 6 good looking men at the table next to us were New York Yankee players. Unfortunately, I don't follow baseball, but just knowing added that extra pizazz to our meal!

We shared a caesar salad and salami, roasted pepper and mushroom pizza. The crust was thin, and the pizza very tastey.

Service was excellent. I don't think we waited even 10 min. for our meal. We will definitely return.

Shortly after getting a credit card increase, my friend Steph.n49.ca and I went to have a drink at Cafe Nervosa. We were lucky enough to get the best table in the place- the single table on a private balcony. A drink turned into appetizers which turned into dinner which turned into desert which turned into two bottles of wine which turned into hanging with the staff (they were great) and shutting the place down. The food was delicious, the wine was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. While I am still trying to pay down my debt I also cherish the memory of the night.

From the minute you cross the threshold at Café Nervosa in Toronto’s chic Yorkville shopping area, the atmosphere is so exuberant and friendly you’d think you’d been swept into the center of a lively Italian family home.

Famous for its imaginative thin-crusted pizzas and courteous, friendly staff, the eating experience at the casual corner restaurant is one that always says welcome, buon appetito and come again.

Tables in the non-smoking dining room offer views to one of the city’s busiest corners and put you near all the cooking action in the open-concept kitchen. Watch chefs Thomas and Batan sizzle in the kitchen while they prepare a selection of reasonably priced northern and southern Italian-inspired dishes including sumptuous salads, pasta, pizza, meat, poultry, fish and creative specials of the day.
