I loved everything about this place. Our waitress was cute, attentive, and helpful, she also had great style. She went out of her way to make me an iced coffee, a beverage not on their menu. The patio is a little slice of heaven on the Dundas West strip. Brunch was delicious. I had a tasty omelette with goat cheese, capers, and fresh veggies. Part way through sharing it with my boyfriend I made a comment about how more foods should have capers. Apparently he is alergic to capers. Ooops. We both got delicious rosmary roasted potatoes. He had some sort of egg/veggie sandwich, which was great.

All of me, really, all of me wants to be able to rave about this place. But as my brunch exited my body much more quickly and violently than it had entered, i lost my reslove. I cannot rave about this place. So I call on you, my fellow n49ers. Go to this place (as I surely cannot go back) and prove me wrong. Bring some pepto bismol.

Eww you got sick and that SUCKS! I wonder what it was that did it?!
I've eaten at Musa before and felt a-ok! I hope that they haven't changed their ways since the last time I went.

i doubt it, judging from the number of regulars, and other brunchers who looked like their stomachs were calm it seems to just be ed and i.

i must say, i love capers too. they are a very underrated food (garnish? vegetable? fruit? plant? what, pray tell, are they exactly?) that should be used more often. although according to the multitude of shows i watch on the food network, they're considered very "70's" and therefore not hip with the contemporary food steez (which is something i've never really followed, nor cared about).

that being said, no amount of capers would propel me to visit this place, kat. while the food sounded delish, i can't bring myself to pay good money just to have it come out the other end as quickly as i can say "waste of moola". the thoughts stewing in my head as to what the causes of this dietary expulsion were (food poising? including ex-lax as an ingredient?) are enough to make me take your word for it and wait to hear other positive n49 reviews before i try it out for myself.
