Hi there!...I am most pleased that Waterdown has the Amity-Goodwill Store. My budget does not allow me to purchase "brand new" items all the time. Some of our worldly possessions may be from such organizations, but we can still hold our heads high and know that we are helping others who are less fortunate than ourselves. "Keep up the great work"..that all of you do....Cheers, Gail Brown from Waterdown
Some clothing very good shape / quality.
Prices are not as high as value village or sally ann but still are a bit on the high side for a thrift store.
This store still doesn't get the most basic of equations of business, that revenue = price * volume. The people who run
the Amity stores think that if you hike the price your revenue goes up. They do not understand that volume will go down and in the end they lose. The result: needy people do with less clothing, more goes into the recycling bins, and Amity has lower profit and employs fewer people. Good Job, Amity!!!
