K-W (Fairway) Urgent Care Clinic, Kitchener Reviews (9)
I come to the doctor with 3 simple issues. Instead of taking quick care of those issues. I have to come back 3 times a week to be seen by 3 different doctors.
I needed a prescription. That was my one issue. I needed a mammogram but that was considered 2 problems. LOL The requisitions were next to him. BUT he wouldn't take a second. Instead I go 2 or 3 times a week to NOT have anything resolved. Do better. Find a new system. This ones not working.

I went there today just to get a dr's note for work. When I got there there were only a few people waiting. They told me "it shouldn't take long"!! EVERYONE that came after me got in before me! I asked the receptioninst if they had forgot about me, she said oh you're seeing Dr whatever and you are third on the list!
Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing! Where are All the taxes we pay?
Who is responsible for all our wasted times?
Something doesn't click here!
VERY VERY UNSATISFACORY!
NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!

I Have gone to this clinic to get stiches several times, and every time has been a breeze.
Last week, I cut my thumb at work at 3:00, and was back to work with 5 stiches by 5:10. (this includes 20 min travel time)
will always go here to get stiched up, even if there is a clinic closer

I took my 3 year old son there today and spend almost 3 hours waiting to see the doctor. Dr. Kordish spent 2 seconds with us. Didn't ask any questions. My son was vomitting, had an earache, headache, terrible cough and the dr didn't even think of checking his ears or throat. Wrote up some prescription and told me the pharmacist will explain what I have to do. Went to the pharmacy and they couldn't even read his writing. Fax the office and they faxed back the name of the medicine but not the dosage or frequency...I think that's an important piece of information. Now I'm at home back in the same position as I was before with no medicine.
WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! NEVER GOING BACK.

I arrived at the urgent care for my 14 month old daughter's ear infection. When the nurses saw her crying in pain they tended to her immediately, checked her for fever, and rushed us into the nearest waiting room. The doctor saw us quickly. His demeanor was slightly arrogant, but nice enough I suppose. He said we needed a referral to an ENT. The referral processes is a whole other adventure leaving much to be desired; however, as far as the clinic's service goes, SCORE: A-
Very well knowledgeable doctors. Once the day goes on the wait gets really long but what clinic doesn't. Never had a bad experience. Always busy so sometimes it seems rushed but I wouldn't be going to a clinic if I was not in a hurry. I would prefer fast service and knowledgeable doctors over good service but slow.
went in, waited an hour...but they stayed open to accomodate the many who usually file into a clinic. Doc saw me, did a quick test, presrcibed a medication and gave me follow signs to look for. Easy and to the point service. Was great.
I am a student here in KW and as most of you know it is next to impossible to get a family dr in the city. I went here when I had a boil (I got it when I was in a 3rd World country doing a mission trip). Anyways the drs were well educated and knew what they were talking about. They removed it right away and the following month I was in there everyday. They were very kind and gentle. A+
I had a ADN test done and they treated me really bad, also to my little daughter. My daughter smiled and waived at them and they did not even look at them. The other few times I went there for my baby's emergency, the doctors treat you like your are an idiot for being there and worrying about the health of your baby. In two ocassions doctors missprescribed my baby, and my family doctor had to correct their stupid mistake.
Just go to your family doctor or pay for a private one. I would be way less expensive in the long run.
