Decco Painting and Home Improvements

This company has painted our cottage and stained it for us, we had nothing but an excellent relationship with them during our reno with the cottage. They supplied us with advise on which wood to use and colours for the exterior as well. We would recommend Decco Painting and Patrick to any of our friends and clients.

Began job late, lacked proper equipment to do the job; i.e. lighting, ladders, drop sheets, etc., areas were missed in too many places to mention, left the premise UNLOCKED one night with our personal effects inside the house, drywall repairs like an amateur and highly visible after painting, unable to determine difference between hanging window treatments upside down and was unbothered by that, didn't pay close enough attention to how shelving was prior to him removing it and replaced it haphazardly and incorrectly.
Just a LOUSY PAINTER OVERALL. Would never use again or recommend.

This contractor is a husband and wife small time operation. Used them once and never again. Late, careless, sloppy, inadequate equipment and corner cutting can be used to best describe their work. They are not dependable and do not work within time schedules very well.
Excuses are also free flowing at anytime for you to explain away their incapabilities. We are still finding missed areas that were never done. This company is better suited for commercial where scrutiny doesn't apply. Proceed with great caution.
