Manitoba Clinic

I've been dealing with this clinic for all three of my children and I am happy with the doctors themselves. However, recently my youngest, a teenager, went to a walk-in clinic for a sore shoulder and the doctor there said her pediatrician needed to requisition an MRI. Over a month later, not a single one of the faxes from the walk-in clinic have been seen by MB Clinic staff. The walk-in assures me that each of their fax transmissions were confirmed as successful and I have no reason to disbelieve them. I spoke to one MB Clinic staff member who gave me an alternate fax number, because apparently they don't have access to each other's incoming faxes, so if someone is away the faxes coming in can't be seen by others. Which I think is ridiculous. So my walk-in clinic immediately faxed their notes to that number, and still nothing.

Given the vast and swamped waiting room for the Manitoba Clinic's Pediatric area, and the large and changeable number of staff, as well as the fact that when receptionists cover for each other they do not have access to one another's incoming faxes, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised that several faxes in the past month were somehow misplaced or never seen by anyone. In the meantime however my kid has a torn something or other in her shoulder and god knows if it's been worsened by the delay. I will NOT be back to this clinic.

The doctor I saw here is an incredibly physician. Like any doctor's waiting room, you will wait for an extended period of time to see him. If you go with a specific complaint and are very succinct, he is a great doctor to deal with. You do feel rushed because he is an incredibly busy physician but I would recommend him highly.
