You can't tell me that you can change what you charge me on a whim when me and others have been told our storage rate has you have decided to change policy. What a crook. I'm leaving the hold. It was good. Not so much now. Pretty bad that because the owner doesn't understand customer service and legalities of contracts that we are leaving. Oh well. Not my loss.
I've stored my stuff at this location for over a year now. Usually I don't have any problems and the office staff is friendly, with the exception of the manager Todd who is rude and uneducated about the laws in regards to unauthorized charges on people's credit cards. This has happened to me three times and usually I just call and let them know and they don't do it again. Today they yet again charged my credit card without my authorization, stating that the rules had changed and they'll automatically charge my card on the first of the month. The problem is that I've never signed any papers stating they could do this, nor was I sent any papers notifying me of change. The new 'policy' is sneaky and underhanded. Storing your stuff here is no problem, it's the headache you have to go through when you have a problem with them. Management, Todd, is by far the rudest person I've ever spoken to there. He refused to apologize for the mistake and spoke over me the entire conversation. Such a mess and a total waste of breath trying to explain that what they did was illegal. Storage is fine but the management is awful!
Hey for a first class experience, check out The Hold. These guys are Top Notch. The place is clean, dry and secure. They have the BEST rates in town, and are nice folks too! I was VERY Impressed!
