Cleaning By Page

My daughter had a gown she purchased out of country, that was very expensive. It had a broach that was unique and sewn onto the gown. When I dropped the gown off, the clerk was unsure if the gown could be cleaned with the broach in place. I was very specific that if it could not be done, then I would pick it up and try to make other arrangements. Not only did they remove the broach, but in trying to sew it back on, broke it, so that it could not be used. The manager tried to apologize, and did try to provide a replacemnt broach which was in no way appropriate for the dress. Fortunately Neiman Marcus was first class and did find a replacement for the broach and sewed in in place. I would never use this company for fine items. Might be ok for sleeping bags and the like.

This cleaner sends all their cleaning to a main cleaning plant. The first time I went there, they could not find my clothes! Told me to try again the next day! When I finally picked them up, the pressing was terrible. I could not believe how high their prices were. They charged almost 14% with GST and energy upcharges!! Not going back there any time soon!
