Quick And Careful Moving

We were referred to quick and careful movers from a good friend, so we were confident before the move even started. We were not disappointed, they took a methodical approach to packing the truck and blanket wrapped all our wood furniture. We asked for new boxes and they obliged and also provided new mattress bags for our beds. I almost forgot, they are also piano movers, apparently they do 10+ pianos every week so they expertly handled our tight corner with our piano. They answered questions we never thought to ask. Its nice to hire a company that knows what they're doing and do it with Pride! The crew was run by Eric, I think the other two guys were Phil and Michael.

Do not be fooled by the name. They are neither quick nor careful. Rude movers. Do not use this moving company.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I honestly think this company is run by one guy who scams people daily. Not only were they very extremely late to my house (which they blamed on traffic and how difficult it was to find my place), but they were rude and inconsistent with what they said. They could have called me ahead of time to verify the address and to ask questions, but they waited and probably went for dinner to charge me an additional 2 hours. When i asked where their GPS was, they stated that they didn't have one and i thought that was a bunch of bull considering they drive around daily as a main part of their jobs. The owner charges an additional amount on your bill if you want to use visa - I believe it's because he feels most people will complain and want their money back. He only asks for email money transfers and then constantly hounds you if you don't pay him within 10 mins. I wanted to make sure all my stuff arrived safely, but he wouldn't let me and i had to pay him immediately. I found out by the next day that we had damaged items and they wouldn't do anything for me. Not only would the company not replace my items, or give me money for my brand new items, but they refused to call or email me back stating that their representative that deals with damages was on holidays - FOREVER? PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Can I not give 0 out of 5 stars?

Save yourself time and stress by finding another moving company. Don't use Quick and Careful - they are anything but quick or careful. The movers arrived late on our moving day, giving some made-up excuse about how they got lost (our house was very easy to find), and setting us back in all of our plans. As other reviewers have stated, they are difficult to get ahold of, and do nothing to ease any concerns you might have about your move. Terrible customer service - honestly the worst that I have received in years - arguing with me and making it seem like the confusion is my fault. Don't use this company, they are horrible to deal with.

I ever never used such an incompetent bunch of cowboys in a move before. Not only were they late, they arrived with insufficient blankets and supplies to cover my furniture and as a result many of the items were chipped and scratched...and we were only moving from one building to another building in the same complex. If you value your possessions, I recommend not using the company. Trying to make claims (I purchase insurance) was impossible because no one answers the phone and I finally gave up. Its a wonder a company like this can stay in business. THE WORST!!

I was very happy with their services, I highly reccomend them.

We got a voice mail early in the morning saying that their truck broke down and that they pushed our 9am move to 2pm. We understand that these things happen. We tried to call them throughout the day to speak with them, but received no call back.

It is now after 3pm and there is no sign of them and we still haven't received any phone calls.

Now we're stuck paying another moving company as well as having to help the new tenant move in since she won't have enough time to move her stuff in after we leave! Which defeats the purpose of hiring mover's for yourself!

Completely thoughtless on their part. Made an already stressful day even worse!
