Ridma was excellent! He found the correct locker for me after I needed a change. He stayed to help me an extra 30 minutes, after his shift had ended and the store had closed for the day. He was also very cheerful and positive. Excellent top notch service

I wanted to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received from Ridma today. He was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions with a very pleasant personality, and his positive attitude truly made a great impression. This place has gone completely downhill since the ownership change. What used to be a reliable storage solution is now a nightmare.

They changed the gate access hours without any real consideration for customers, and people have literally been locked inside—hence the giant warning signs they had to put up. That tells you everything you need to know about how poorly this facility is run.

They no longer accept outside insurance, which conveniently for them, forces customers to pay more.

I am being charged the same rate as their posted price for a 15x5 unit (even after the promo rate)—yet I’m only in a 5x5. To make matters worse, the rent has gone up three times in a single year (so far).

When I reached out to customer service, all I got was a robotic script about “market trends” and the fact that “customers aren’t all charged the same rate.” Translation: they’ll gouge you however they see fit.

If the place were actually maintained well, maybe it would be tolerable, but it’s not. The staff are gruff, the elevators work when they feel like it (with various elevator licenses from god knows how many past owners), and the overall quality is abysmal.

This is not a trustworthy business. I strongly regret storing my belongings here and being blatantly overcharged. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere — this company has proven they don’t care about their customers, only their bottom line.

My husband and I were overwhelmed about moving while also working full time and Laurie simply made our whole experience easy, pain free and straight forward.

Laurie you totally put yourself in our shoes and ensured to give us the best service. You told us what we’d need, how to purchase the lock and provided it all with such a great attitude.

The units are very clean and easy to access. The highlight of doing business at the Ingram Drive location is the great service I get from Lori. She is very patient and willing to answer lots of questions about the best options for my needs. She is extremely helpfull and very friendly.

Very help staff, made me feel very at ease & welcome, helped me set up autopay to avoid late fees, and were just such joyful people to be around during a not-so-fun-time!

It was a great experience with lorie, she was very informative and helpful with servicing the storage unite. She’s funny and showed us great customer service.

There is a lot of storage places in the GTA but the customer service at this one is truly amazing. Every time I have had a concern, Norlene and Lorie have gone out of their way to help me. If you’re in the North York area, I highly suggest going here because they truly care about their customers!

I came into the self stop location on Ingram drive and was unsure about the size of locker and even the location that I wanted to use. Lorie spent a good deal of time explaining all of my options, all of the special pricing of the different locations, and I settled on a locker here at Ingram. I got an excellent price and she was so much help it really was a pleasure - and it's not the first time that I have stored at Smartstop though it is the first time at this location. In everyway I would say 5 stars.

Location is well maintained.
Low rating is because their pricing got ridiculous. I was renting a 5x8 unit originally priced at $115 a month in April of 2023. When I left the this location in November of this year, the price had increased in that short time to $220.
The constant increase in pricing is the reason I had decided to leave.
Even though I had ended my rental in November I have received a notice stating that there would have been another increase to the unit rental to a total of $244.08.
The unit price more than doubling in less than 2 years is ridiculous.
Renter beware.

The facility and staff are great! Clean building, easy access. But I found a really great rate, and then a few month later my rate was raised over $100/ month when the original rate was $160. So this is a massive increase. I’m sure it’s in the fine print that they can do that, corporate greed is terrible right now, but I’m really disappointed in this extreme increase. So be warned.

DO NOT bring your stuff here or use their storage units.. I was there for only a few months and they've hiked the price up 100$ from a price that was already raised from the previous unit.
**AVOID THIS PLACE** they will send you a "letter" which I had not received and hike the price without sending you an e-mail. Now I have to take all of my stuff out of there and go to a storage unit with decent pricing.. for your own good do not use this place they can raise the rent every 3-5 months.. CROOKS.

I had a wonderful experience at Smart Storage! Norlene and Lorie were not only professional but also incredibly kind and friendly during my visit. Their warm and helpful approach truly made my day. Highly recommend their service!

We were so happy with our SmartStop experience on Ingram Dr. in large part because of Lori! We first started renting a storage unit there 2 years ago and have not considered going anywhere else because of the excellent help and service that she has consistently given us. Today we were back for a bigger unit. Lori helped us acquire a unit in the same building as the one we are already in. Our move was easy and quick. Thanks Lori!!

The service I’ve received from the representatives has been the best I’ve ever experienced. They are very honest, helpful, and respectful. As for the storage, I can’t make a solid comparison due to limited experience in that area, but I have nothing negative to say. I’ve been working with these guys for over two years now.

I had to share my Experience at 7 Ingram SmartStop Self Storage.
I was greeted by a Pleasant Woman who I had spoken on the Phone and also was impressed by her ability to make you feel comfortable and want to Spend or Buy something you may not of needed.

Lorie has Wonderful Customer Service Skills and knows how to treat Customers no matter what Culture or Difficult Situation you are in she will always try to help and accommodate your Preferences in Storage .

The ladies at the front desk were very accommodating. Very helpful in the information that they shared. I would recommend this rental storage to anyone. Excellent service!!!!

On line start up was mostly easy with one glitch that showed up the following day. When checking in at the location in person, Lorrie very pleasantly made the experience smooth quick and cheerful.
