Very bad and arrogant service.
I placed an order through their website. 4 weeks later, I was still waiting for my item. I contacted them to cancel the item and asked for a refund. They charged me 20 % for restocking fees. However, the item has never been shipped to me… So, why charging restocking fees since the item was never shipped to me ?

The customer service was arrogant. I would discourage anyone to buy from that store.

Always excellent service with the most outstandingly beautiful selection of very high quality furniture. It is so good to deal with a Canadian company.

Top dollar for poor craftsmanship. Bought Marimekko tea towels. Very small and may not be dried in a dryer. High cost for low value.

I purchased a desk chair for $2200.00 in late 2015. It was delivered and 3 days later it went on sale for %15 less than I paid. Gabriel Ross management did nothing but give emailed excuses, Avoid buying from this company.

Terrible service, no respect for repeat customers, won't honour a sale price even when your order at previous price hasn't even shipped yet. E-mail communication slow. Why buy here when you can buy from any number of other vendors who sell the same product with better service? Prices are pretty much fixed anyway on these licensed classics anyway.

I found this site via google, as I wanted to get to the Gabriel Ross website. SO I had a moment to sign up. What I find surprising is there are only two old negative comments here.

I have been a customer of Gabriel Ross for about 6 years. We work with some very high end projects that have some of the most amazing architecture and design. We use only the best materials and that is what our customers DEMAND and expect. The same goes for furniture and lighting.

I have bought furniture and lighting from many suppliers and I source my prices. For authentic brands there is usually not too much price difference (as these are set by the manufacturer), so service and knowledge are very important to me. I need to know when to expect the items I have ordered and coordinate this with my project schedule. Finding companies I can trust and rely on is very valuable to me. I still push for the best deal. Many items we order are custom made, coming from all parts of the world, these items do not ship over night, (they are not even made yet).

IN Canada it is hard to beat Gabriel Ross. You are going to get nailed on the dollar when it is like it is now and your credit card unless you have a US dollar card, then probably get dinged on shipping, if they even will ship to you.

Each of the top suppliers of these special designed 'name brand', authentic items are usually pretty good if they have been in this business any length of time and I have dealt with most of them with various results. I rate Gabriel Ross at the top of the list and do not mind saying so. Asking most people in the business here in Canada and they will usually say the same.

It sounds like these reviewers are going to be happier shopping online at walmart.

Gabriel Ross peddles overpriced goods with a serving of arrogance and self-importance. We've had several poor experiences with the owner, whom we found to be difficult, condescending, and very arrogant. There are many other shopping options out there; we'll never deal with this individual again.

My recent buying experience with Gabriel Ross was a breeze. We bought 10 Herman Miller Aeron chairs for our office. The staff at Gabriel Ross are great and the pricing is even better.

I sent an email inquiring about a quantity discount and within an hour one of their staff members (Dan) got back to me with a quote. Their pricing easily beat out the competition and I placed the order with them.
The follow up to my order was also great. I received a ship date by email and a phone call from the delivery company 5 days after the order had shipped.

The 10 of us here are truly loving our new chairs!

Took two and a half times longer than promised to ship goods. Arrogant and intransigent post-sales customer service. All this after charging premium prices. Recommend buying the same brands south of the border cheaper, quicker and easier!
