Zero stars if I could do that. I've had experience with them as a customer where they did half of the job that was quoted, and literally refused to make it right, and I've had experience with them as a vendor, where I have had to threaten legal action to get paid. They are greedy, incredibly poorly run, and I promise you would rue the decision to work with them.

Received a quote to crown a large Walnut tree. The crew only removed the overhang branches we discussed. They did not crown the tree and walked away. Asked their office to make it right but their rep came out and wanted another 800.00 to crown the tree over and above the original and very expensive quote. The crew had no idea what was quoted and already paid in full. Poor communication and did not receive the service we paid for. We hired another tree service and will never use Arbor Care again. They rate zero stars.

We had some trees affected in last years snow storm, we called a week after our trees were split and were surprised with how fast the team came out to give us an estimate. We booked a tree surgery service and they came out within a few weeks.

This spring we called again to have some post storm check ups and pruning done in our back yard, our estimate was done within 3 days and the crew arrived 2 weeks after booking. Our yard looks amazing, the crew was so polite and professional and the clean up job left our yard looking cleaner then before the crew showed up.

We are beyond happy with the level of customer service and follow up we received through out the process, although the price was a little high it was tongue and cheek with competitors quotes so we decided to hire them as they are the oldest and most established company in our area.

We would highly recommend using them again.

I too wish I had done my homework on these guys. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have waited weeks for wood removal that should have been done when the tree was originally cut down. Instead I gave them my money and the wood still sits in my yard. The tree stump that was supposed to be ground down was only half done and a huge mess left behind. No clean up whatsoever. I paid extra for this service. I have had to call EVERYTIME to have something done and there was no follow up at all. It is true, once they have your money they don't care. Use Sullivan's instead.

At ArborCare we are 100% committed to our customer service and ensure job satisfaction for each of our jobs. We would love to provide you with preferred service. If you could send us some more information I would be more then happy to review your customer file and see what we could further do for you, and what can be done to ensure that this does not happen again. We work with our clients from the moment they call in to the moment the job is complete. We take down all information for the estimate, once that is done and ready to book we review each and every item that has been selected and approved which is then translated on a work order so the crew has the same information the homeowner has confirmed with our sales team. When the job is not complete to a clients satisfaction in relation to the detailed approved proposal we send a crew back at no charge to complete the outstanding work to ensure satisfaction. Clean up is done to the best of our abilities, time of year and job that is done can result in some debris left behind. We work to leave a job site as clean as possible but as our terms and conditions do explain: We will take reasonable measures to ensure the work site is left in good condition however due to the nature of the services some debris, sawdust, leaves, branches, or unrecoverable material may be left on site. We are sorry to hear that you did not believe the clean up was done to the best of our abilities and will review our clean up procedures moving forward. We thank you for your time in writing a review and bringing this to our attention; we take all of our clients feedback into full consideration to ensure top notch customer service to all of our clients. Hired Arborcare, it took a few weeks for them to get out and get the work done but they did a good job. After reading some of the reviews (after I hired them) I was a little nervous especially around my hedges and gazebo, as instructed they took extra care near them and everything looked great once the work was done. No complaints here

These guys don't even deserve half a star but that's the lowest you can give. Nothing but problems right from getting the estimate done and when they finally came to prune our tree they did it wrong! Nobody from customer service ever bothered to speak to us but they charged our credit card. DO NOT give them your credit card or payment up front because once they have your money they don't care about MAKING IT RIGHT. Filed a BBB complaint against them but they still haven't fixed the tree.

Wish I had read the reviews before hiring these guys. They will rip you off. Hired them to do some tree pruning which they did all wrong and their customer service won't even talk to us but they went ahead and charged my credit card. Do NOT give them your credit card information or payment until you are satisfied with the work because they will not deal with you once they have your money.

I needed my tree removed from my home in Eavestrough Toronto. It was a large tree that started growing into the holes in the side of my house. The removal didn't go well at all.

My poplar tree broke and fell on my rental house in one of our recent wind storms. I spoke with the lead estimator within 45 minutes of my phone call to the office and met him on the site 2 hours after that. The crew arrived first thing the next morning and removed the tree with all kinds of rope systems, they didn't even disturb the plastic bird bath that was frozen under the tree. Excellent work Arborcare!

Had an estimate in Oct. for limb removal and trimming of spruce to clear buildings. Arrrived Dec. 28 after two previous cancellations only to inform me that the estimate wasn't done properly. He then proceeded to restimate the cost and said because of the time it would take he would have to re-book. I can not believe this type of dishonesty. Will call consumer report T.V. and air my disgust.

-Calgary do not hire them, I did this summer and they damaged my eavestrough garage and refuse to take ownership of the damage. Consumer beware of this dishonest company-greedy and doesn't care. I'm just a "little person", however, if they've done this with others and no one fights for their rights then this company keeps getting away with this. This is so wrong of them to do this and getting away with this.

they are still lying...They have recently been reported to BBB. They damaged my eaves and totally refusing to take ownership...the truck kept moving back and forth so yes it did hit my eaves lightly and caused damaged to my eaves...after eaves was hit they moved their truck and chipper again this time away from garage wall and farther out. They are treating me as if I'm trying to scam them. If you want more details, pls feel free to leave comment and I will touch base with you. How many times have they caused damaged and not taken ownership, lots I bet you, most people don't want to fight it, but I am,I'm just a little person and they are a fairly big company. In all fairness if folks don't bring up stuff like this then Arborcare will continue to get away with bad customer service and not take ownership. It's too bad.

I’m sorry to hear that your experience with us was disappointing. In our line of work damages are not completely uncommon, for this reason we have a dedicated inspector who investigates these claims and the majority are approved, often times giving the benefit of the doubt to the customer. In this specific instance our inspector was sent to the site to investigate the claim. Upon examining photos, our truck that was on the site that day and the location and nature of the damage claimed, it was determined that it was physically impossible that it was our truck that caused the damage. As I admitted earlier, damages sometimes do occur but we also have to do our due diligence to ensure that we are not paying to fix damages we did not cause or we would leave ourselves susceptible to being taken advantage of every time we take on a job. Although in this case the answer received was not the one sought, our process in dealing with claims has proven itself to be accurate, effective and efficient in getting damages caused by our crews fixed in a timely manner.
