This place is pure evil. They are supposed to be a place for future missionaries to receive full healing from the past and become equipped to serve Christ, but what happens here is some sort of works- based spiritual bootcamp with ill-equipped leaders who spread legalism, lies about the truth of the gospel, and ABUSE the students under their care! My sister was in this program years ago, and she is still receiving therapy for all the PTSD and trauma she received from this program. She was treated like a slave after she was 15 seconds late to a meeting in the beginning, and she had an outright demonic leader who was also her one-on-one partner, and this girl didnt like my sister and was determined to get her kicked out of the program. My sister raised $4,000 for her outreach mission trip, but shortly before the trip left, she was advised she was "not a good fit" for the trip, and she wasn't given any refund except for the plane ticket. She wasn't permitted to "graduate "from this joke of a "Christian" program because they didn't let her go on the mission trip, and then they asked her where she wanted to go next to try to get the spiritual guidance she didnt get at YWAM, and then Redding leaders called those places to tell them lies about my sister and say - of all things - that she was ABUSIVE (are you SERIOUS- YOU GUYS ARE THE ABUSERS!) because she wanted someone to try to mediate between her and the evil leader spreading lies about her. She was shunned by the entire group after she was kicked out, and she found out from a former YWAM leader that the leadership team told people not to talk to her and that they also encouraged the verbal and emotional abuse she received. I could not give YWAM a lower score. This Cult needs to be shut down immediately! By the way, YWAM Redding is not closed, it merged with Denver, CO base, so that is where the evil continues now. Beware!
