About By breathing new life into a true piece of Texas history, Boiler House Texas Grill and Wine Garden is a beautiful fusion of past and present day charm. Click below to check out Scott Martin’s stop-motion video of the Boiler House construction from start to finish.Located in the revitalized Pearl District, Boiler House provides a taste of artfully prepared, gourmet Texas Hill Country fare partnered with an ever evolving 120+ wine list, and 25+ Texas craft beer selection. A robust Texas-themed cocktail menu that boasts local whiskeys, and traditional bourbons, Scotches, añejo tequilas and mezcals conclude the beverage offerings. All wines are also available by the glass (per a two glass commitment). Executive Chef Jarrad Gwaltney's inspiring use of seasonal ingredients from local farms and markets creates brunch, lunch and dinner menus that form a unique niche in the culinary scene of San Antonio. Not more than 5-10 minutes from the San Antonio Riverwalk, the Alamo and downtown San Antonio, Boiler House sits just next door to the Culinary Institute of America. Housed in the 130-year-old building of what was the original Boiler Room of the Pearl Brewery Complex, Boiler House’s space is 6200 square feet of living, breathing San Antonio history. The bulk of the original architecture remains intact, with our kitchen built right into the original brewery’s boilers. The space is split into two levels with the upstairs featuring seating, a catwalk-loft dining space and private dining rooms to host anything from casual to formal affairs. Original fixtures are positioned throughout the main dining room, set amongst a mix of industrial-styled cast iron and exposed brick. If you care to indulge in the San Antonio sunset, we also have our outdoor patio for those rare, but perfect Texas nights. So if you are thinking about spending a night strolling under the San Antonio stars in the Pearl, grabbing brunch with friends, indulging in a glass of wine to escape the heat of the afternoon or grabbing a nightcap after a Spur’s game (only 15 minutes from the AT&T center) we’re waiting for you with welcoming arms at Boiler House Texas Grill and Wine Garden. https://vimeo.com/58331598
