Pete the Plumber

I must say that I am a little disappointed for two reasons. Got charged double compared to what was quoted. Also the vanity was placed two inches from the wall. The plumber said that he didn't come prepared for the job as he only had a little truck and not a van.

Good job. Came on time when they said. Cost was what they quoted and no need to upsell. Needed a tank and Chris came and did a professional job. Other outfits wanted to do a service call to tell me what I knew, that the tank was leaking and would have to be replaced. I had it drained and he was in and out in 2 hours.

Had Pete crew in to replace hot water tank, remove defective
water softener and remove soft water bypass polyB piping
(with copper, my choice). Great team (Jason/Tyler). Polite,
business like, clean work. I have some plumbing knowledge and
was please with the tank install. Solder joints neat and wiped,
not globby. They walked me through all the changes, labelled and
identified all shut offs. All old materials were removed and site
cleaned up. No surprises to the quote. Impressed and would
recommend Pete to others.

900 bucks for the same instant hot thats around 300 at home depot. 600 or so for install from PTP !!
Water softener install left us with 16 holes in ceiling when he said there wud be 4 or 5 ! Another 1200 for drywall/ceiling repairs !
Drilled hole in granite for a tap and installed garburator. First ... garb installed wrong side so instant hot unit cud not be serviced. Had to move garb. Next .... said he now could not get power to the garb and we needed another hole drilled in granite and an air switch installed. I advised him to just use power from the dishwasher which is right beside sink, to which he said there was no way.
I had a real electrician in that did exactly what I said and didnt cost much at all.
PTP is brash and full of himself. Portrays himself and his company to be something they are not. Stay away from this guy and his outfit.

Recently had my new hot water tank replaced by ptp excellent service and the cost reasonable the cost was 795.00 plus gst for a 40 gallon tank the hot water tanks they offer are higher quality than you can buy at home depot

Expensive!!! Beware!! Had emergency hot water heater installed. Labor reasonable ($300) however charged us $720 for a 40 gal hot water heater from Home Depot ($440 there). Called to complain and was told that is how much it costs. $1155 to install a water heater. Go somewhere else, we sure will.

MY Mom and I have used this company for replacing sinks, toilets, water heaters, unclogging drains. We had a very odd shape vanity and needed a special size sink. When I phoned, Pete himself answered the phone and knew exactly what would fit in our 70's vanity. Every time we need a plumbing job, this company is fairly priced and excellent with communication skills. You can be sure that they will charge what is needed but not exceedingly much like some other plumbing companies (sonrise).

I had Pete the Plumber visit my home to replace my hot water tank. The guys did a really great job, they left my house clean, and I was happy with the price. All-in-all it was a great experience.

Pete the Plumber - After PTP attempted to fix my hot water tank twice, I kicked him out of my house. Then I had a real plumber come in and fix it. The parts PTP charged me for were under warranty and he shouldn't have charged me, also the "new" parts that I paid for while PTP was attempting his fix were old. The plumber that fixed my hot water tank pulled them out and asked how old they were - they were hours old - PTP should have his license pulled if PTP even has one. PTP was late - rude - unprofessional - incompetent and will never get any of my business again.

Pete the idiot - installed the wrong parts first then installed used parts - this I found out from a different plumber who showed me the used parts Pete had used. Pete the plumber is a crook and a extreamly poor plumber. Customers be ware......!!!
