A&W Southern Sod Farms LLC has over 400 acres of top quality turfgrass and is still growing. It all began in 2000 when we decided that turfgrass would be the future of the family farm. We are still as proud today as we were when the first load of turfgrass left our farm to provide quality turfgrass to our customers. As one of the industry leaders we specialize in the production, delivery, and installation of quality turf type tall fescue. We use two different varieties that we have identified as the top varieties in our area, these varieties are gold tag certified seeds. The blends are 90% Turf Type Tall Fescue and 10% Kentucky Bluegrass. We harvest our turfgrass only in rolls. We have small rolls that are stacked automatically on a 48.
