We suspected some flashing failure after a recent storm, so we were looking for a quick response before the next wind induced problem rolled in. We phoned Claire at Avenue Road in late morning and by early afternoon Joe and Kas came in to do the work as needed. Very happy with the response and execution to the matter at hand. Would recommend Avenue Road for future roofing and masonry needs.

We needed a bathroom vent installed that concerned us because the bathroom had been renovated, so internal reconstruction was an issue. Avenue Road Roofing & Avenue Road Masonry were absolutely amazing! We were stressed, and they addressed all our concerns promptly and courteously. We were kept up-to-date on scheduling, the work was completed ahead of schedule, and the internal repairs look great. Huge appreciation to Robert and Phil for coordinating the project and answering tons of questions, and to the external and internal crews (especially Alex!) for doing such a great job. Joe and Kaz are two great gentlemen with a sense of humour and obvious experience and expertise. I wanted an inspection. They were immediately responsive, we booked a time the next day, they showed up on time, performed the inspection in the middle of a rainstorm, determined the roof is still in good shape, told me to wait a few more years, and refused payment. I almost wish I needed a new roof so I could hire them. First impression only but first impression very positive.

Had Avenue Road Roofing come and rescue us in the dead of winter from a nightmare roof scamming situation. We dealt with Aron mostly on site. He was very professional and thorough. Full disclosure and detailed estimates. No surprises!!! Came multiple times to check and assesses the work as the project was done in stages as well as take photos and write a report that we could use in our small claims filing against the other roofer.
The workers on site were also great and cleaned up the property after every visit! So grateful for the initial emergency repairs as well as all the work that was done after. Highly recommend their services if you want quality, reliable work and honest estimates!!!

Avenue Road did my parents' roof in 1986, and it's still holding strong. Now that I have my own house, they still go above and beyond. First, they're honest about repairs and pricing. They all went the extra mile, from the estimate to the installation, including the amazing Newfoundlander who came a few days later to check on the job. No mess. No fuss.

Poor assessment, customer service, and overall accountability.

We had a terrible experience with Avenue Road Roofing. I’d like to think that if everything goes to plan, they’re a fine company to work with, but from our experience if anything goes wrong, they’re an absolute nightmare to deal with. They do not stand behind their work and will deny accountability at all costs.

There were errors made with the initial assessment which led to a leak not being fixed properly, and their recommendations also created an entirely new problem. While fixing the main leak, they thought it was a good idea to do some preventative touchups around a skylight, and while working on it, they broke the seal. It leaked for the very first time the next day, and they had the audacity to suggest that it had nothing to do with them. So we hired them to fix one leak, and they left us with two! We subsequently had to hire another company to replace the skylight for $2,000.

I was astonished at how poorly Avenue Road Roofing managed the situation. I thought they would apologize and come fix it, but instead, they denied accountability for both issues. They said “there’s no warranty on repair work” for the main leak, which reappeared only 3 months later in the exact same place. They claimed that they did fix the original leak and that it was just a bad winter, but if the initial assessment was done correctly, they would have told us that it’s also necessary to replace the damper vent, not just the shingles. Instead, they explicitly told us beforehand that the leak was not related to the damper vent, so we didn’t replace it, but after the leak reappeared, they said it was related to the damper vent. So due to their misguided assessment, the leak was not fixed properly, and they refused to accept any responsibility for this. There are lots of other roofing companies out there, I’d strongly advise against going with Avenue Road Roofing.

I required a repair on my chimney flashing. A.R.R. were able to send someone one over 3 days after I contacted them and gave me a competitive estimate. A crew within 10 days to effect repairs. From the photographs supplied (before and after pictures attached) the job appears to have been done competently – I’m happy.

I'm very glad that we chose Avenue Road Roofing to resurface the carport roof and to seal up leaks from our eaves troughs. All other companies who checked the eaves troughs were quick to give total replacement costs: only Mathew from Avenue Road said that they're good and can be maintained at VERY minimal cost. This company is reliable, professional, and has served us with evident integrity.

Their prices are in the mid to high range depending on the roofing material being used etc. Have been dealing with them for over 15+yr. from roofing both house &garage to eaves and chimney. They are caring to ensure timely completion and the job is inspected again after a week or two after later. This way you can discuss any outstanding issues/concerns. Jobs are always completed on time, job site kept clean and clear of any debris. I've seen too many of my neighbours find roofers that when issues arises it takes weeks or even months to have them come back to address their concerns. Making appointments on line or to their office is easy and the staff at Avenue Road Roofing are oh so friendly, professional , caring and helpful to accomodate your needs. Just had our roof and 3 skylights done by Avenue Road Roofing. I've had 3 other jobs with Avenue Road Roofing in the past, albeit smaller (a previous home roof repair, current home skylight repair and all gutters with leaf guards) but I had no issue just going straight to them for my roof/skylight job. Tyler did the assessment, brought in a drone to get all angles which was pretty neat! The 4 man team they sent were incredible, they worked in such hot weather but kept the site very clean and protected my wife's flower beds from shingles being tossed.
