I went there because of the n49 reviews.
Sure the fry ups are good, but if one of your party wants something healthy, this is not the place to get it.

That's for sure.. someone should have mentioned that.. It's home cooking like Grandmas used to make lots of meat, cream, butter, potatoes, etc mmmmm .. although the person could have ordered a salad.

I used to eat at good bite years ago when our office was at Yonge and Eglinton. This past weekend Rob and I were trying to choose one of the many restaurants in the area and I decided to take him to Good Bite for some home away from home cooking.
I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon with a side order of fries and it came with the most delicious pickle. Rob loves pickles so he was lucky that I shared it with him :)
He decided to order the Liver and Onions after he saw another customer receive theirs. He said it looked amazing. I have always hated liver and have not eaten it since I was a kid but Rob said it was delicious so I tried a bite. YEP.. I still hate liver. :)
The most amazing part of the meal for me was the soup that came with Rob's meal. He asked what the soup was and she only said that it was "very good". She was so right!!! It was a cabbage rice soup and I have to say it was the best I've ever had... I ate half of it before I remembered to take a photo. :)
Good Bite is a great place for an amazing home cooked meal, just like my Mom used to make when I was little.

I have been going here on and off for many years. The service is always friendly and when I order eggs over medium and bacon crisp - that's exactly how it comes. Perfect every time. They never miss.
