If there was a lower rate I could give this law firm I would. My main complaint is with Diana Miller, a lawyer based out of their Mt. Pleasant, IA location. I strongly advise you to not use her. She is only interested in what you have in the bank and nothing more. She treats you poorly and makes you pay for it. I wish someone had warned me about her months ago. She was supposed to represent my sister in a lengthy divorce, custody case. She ended up passing on the case to another lawyer in their Des Moines location and not providing the attorney that stepped in all the important information to go to trail. After trail the attorney that represented her decided to leave the firm even before my sisters case had a ruling so at this time there is no one in their firm that actually attended the trial. She also gave a estimate for legal fees to get through court and then billed DOUBLE what she estimated (over $20,000 more) after we clearly communicated what my sisters financial situation was. This was a billing on top of the $50,000 (minimum) my sister had already paid her. I strongly advise you to find other representation. Find someone who really cares what is in the best interest of you and your situation.
