We've had nothing but great experience with Boonstras. We are on a annual maintenance plan and we have had great service by Jesse, Ryan, and Mart. They make recommendations without pressure tactics, and stand my their work. We had a micro power guard filter installed this spring and this is the first time in 10 years my husband hasn't experienced allergy problems!

Boonstra's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning is not exactly what it seems. We've called them at 2:30pm and told them we were without heat. That our furnace was a silent as a tomb and the house was very very cold. "No problem," says the nice lady who answered their phone. "We'll have a senior tech call you right away." My phone did not ring until 10pm. 24 hours later and we haven't seen them yet.

B/c we're premier Boonstra members, we pay them an annual fee to be there for us, as well as have them do bi-annual check-ups on our furnace. What a waste of money.

They should consider changing their name!

My furnace quit and required immediate replacement during the winter. Boonstra sales person came out at 9:30 pm and quoted me a price of about $ 6700.00 before government rebate. We would receive a credit of approximately $ 350.00 for a government required test to obtain a rebate only if we signed a purchase contract that night. No chance to compare prices elsewhere. Pressure sales technique.

We obtained another quote from Hamco the next day for a similar furnace - actually one size larger - installed all taxes and fees in - $ 3900.00 before government rebate !

Wow ! Beware... Get a second quote. I understand the Boonstra family has sold the business and name- and now it is owned by a different company.

i got a furnace and ac (plus some indoor air quality extras) from boonstra...i had numerous local companies come out and, even though they were not the cheapest quote, decided that quality was more important than getting the lowest price...i have been thrilled with the gas and hydro savings, as well as the obvious reduction in dust due to the hepa filter we had installed...
overall, i would highly recommend boonstra to anyone who is looking to have a furnace/ac installed properly and then never worry about it again...
