About Martin's Apiary
We run a small family farm with the focus on honeybees just outside of Athabasca alongside the Athabasca Riverbanks. Our bees are kept in traditional hives, as natural as can be, without any chemical treatments. No pesticides! No antibiotics! This is huge in our eyes!! Because commercial beekeepers use all of these in their hive management. We are making our own wax foundations not only to save this planet from plastic overload, but also reverting back to small cell frames, which come closer to the bees natural comb cell sizes.
