Jared is a corporate keynote speaker and a drug, alcohol, suicide, and resilience trainer for the U.S. Military. He also speaks to schools ranging from junior high to college, inmates young and old, and survivors of illness, injury, and tragedy. At the age of 25, the car Jared was riding was struck from behind by a 3 time D.U.I. offender going nearly 150 mph. His wife and high school sweetheart Paige was killed, and Jared was burned on over half of his body. It took him nearly 3 years and 50 surgeries to recover from everything physically. He now travels the world talking to a wide variety of audiences about his experiences and the lessons he learned throughout. Jaredââ¬â¢s mission is not just to have the audience put themselves in his shoes, but also in their own shoes. However this time he helps provide them with a new, more hopeful filter to view their lives and struggles through. He knows everything he went through during his recovery we all have to endure. Everyone has pain, loss, stress, anxiety, depression, insecurity, and sleeplessness at various times throughout our lives. There is no gauge for whatââ¬â¢s better or worse when we are going through it, because when we are struggling with something it just consumes our hearts, minds, and souls. This applies with both our day to day stresses and during times of tragedy and great loss. Jared uses his presentation to shine a light on the weapons we all possess in our internal arsenals that we can use to fight our way back to the light and then begin to fire back.
