The website was initiated with the concept that houses in Pakistan are constructed without professional consultancy and planning; hence people are out of any insight about architecture and construction of their homes. Most homes in Pakistan are constructed; relying on labors’ or contractors’ experience while few times relatives are consulted. This result in improper / vulnerable construction prone to natural hazards like earthquake, heavy winds rain. Furthermore, unplanned construction leaves home’s architecture as unpleasant while also hiking the price manifolds. Gharplans.pk was thus started as a website to help homeowners in their quest of reliable and affordable home construction and improvement plans by sharing with them free house plans, interior ideas and home improvement ideas.
