Pine Hills Cemetery

My parents are buried in Pine Hills cemetary in the veterans section. My father was a very proud veteran and Canadian and made his wishes very clear that that was here he be laid to rest. My father passed in 2003 and up until 2007 my mother paid to have the site cared for. My mother passed away in 2008 and we did not pay the $180.00 to care for their plot. The area is basically just dirt and weeds as of today. I am thoroughly disgusted at how the veterans area is maintained. I am also shocked at how quickly the area went to weeds and dirt. The veterans area should be maintained without cost to the families of those resting there. These people deserve better than that. I have attended a few other cemetary sites and I think by far this cemetary at Birchmount and St. Clair has the worst care.
