I highly recommend staying away from this Bell location.
I purchased a new phone here that had a factory defect. The phone broke within the first couple weeks of purchase, so I brought it in for an exchange while I was still eligible.
Instead of exchanging the phone, they provided a temporary fix (Employee: Megan C.) The same issue reoccurred 15 days after purchase & they refused to exchange my phone.
Staff were trying their best, however were extremely unhelpful, refering me to to different departments such as:
- Technical Support
- Retail Support
- and Finally the Retention Department
After spending an entire day of being transfered back and fourth between different departments & staff saying they can't help, I decided to cancel both of my phone lines.

Went into the store to review and lower my bill. The manager reviewed and suggested a voice only plan. When I received my next statement in the mail, it also included an extra $200 bill for removing data! If that would have been mentioned I would have declined the changes. Now they won't answer their messages and the rate plan was $15 lower than it is now offered so my bill will go up $15 /month costing me $180 more per year. Thanks you bunch of bums at the Merivale Bell Mobility store...
The young energetic people who work at this store are underpaid and deserve better. They are patient and I have often seen them working after business hours satisfing customers. They are VERY knowledgable and go the extra step to help. It is a shame they are only paid $10.00 for solving Bell Canada problems while Bell makes billions over charging us for mobile phone servies.
