Desert Sky Dermatology is a state of the art medical clinic and surgical center in Gilbert, AZ under the direction of award-winning dermatologist Matthew Woods, MD. Dr. Woods’ passion for dermatology is evident in his zeal for treating his patients with the best possible treatment regimen. He firmly believes that the patient should always come first and this is reflected in our clinic—our patients don’t have to wait weeks to months to be seen. We can see patients within days, often on the same day, especially for urgent concerns. Also, we understand that your time is valuable and we will not waste it by having you sit in our waiting room for long periods of time. Dr. Woods attended the University of Arizona graduating cum laude as a student of the Honors College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in the top tier of his medical school class and was awarded the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. Dr. Woods is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Woods excels in the treatment of all disorders of the skin, hair and nails. He treats all ages and is currently accepting new patients. Most insurance plans are accepted.
