I started in the flooring industry in 2007, working as an assistant to a 20-year veteran of the trade. That early training covered all bases of flooring, from installation and repairs to maintenance. After 2 years as an apprentice, I branched out on my own and started Cutting Edge Flooring. Still hungry to learn and better serve my customers, I got certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) for carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and hard surfaces restoration.
