I am a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with special additional training in interventional procedures. I utilize a multidisciplinary approach for each patient consisting of physical therapy, oral and topical medications, as well as minimally invasive interventional procedures. These procedures are all done on an outpatient basis and patients go home the same day. Many of these procedures utilize live x-ray (fluoroscopy) or ultrasound to identify the problem area with astounding accuracy. The most common conditions I treat are osteoarthritis (primarily of the spine, shoulders, hips and knees), lumbar radiculopathy (sciatica pain), cervical radiculopathy, tendonitis, sacroiliac joint pain, greater trochanteric bursitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. My goal is to minimize my patient s pain so that they can get back to enjoying their daily activities.
