"Notice to all Aubrey’s Meats Inc. coupon holders:
This notification is meant to clarify the outstanding issue of coupons which were put on hold January 17th, 2012. It is the intent of the current owner of Aubreys, without legal obligation, to accommodate all of our past and present clients who bought coupons for purchases at Aubrey’s Meats Inc. between March 2011 and December 2011 in the following manner:
We will start redeeming coupons as of May 1st on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.
All purchases will be 1 for 1 with no exceptions. If you purchase $50 worth of product, $25.00 will be on your coupon and $25.00 will be paid in cash/ debit/credit card, up to $100 total per day.
All original coupons must be presented even if it was transferred to a gift card.
There will be absolutely NO cash refunds."
As I understand it, this means that if you bought a $109 voucher for $39 (you paid 36% of face value), and if you want to buy $100 worth of meat, that meat will actually cost you $68.00. That's $50 cash plus $50 from your voucher (which cost you $18.00). So you end up paying a little over 2/3 of the regular price. Now, I'm no math genius, so feel free to correct me if I've goofed.
They do not appear to have raised their prices, at least according to the website, but if I go, I'm bringing the price list I printed from the website to be sure they don't gouge me.
