My obsession with numbers came early on in life. My father was a Civil Engineer in upstate New York before joining the Navy, and so he worked long hours. During his off time, my father would spend his weekends tutoring me in his favorite subject, Mathematics. I attended USC and graduated in 1980 with a Degree in Land Use Planning, so it was inevitable that I would find myself working in some aspect of Real Estate. In 1998, I combined what I learned as a Trojan with my passion for numbers and decided to obtain my Lender License with the DOC. By 1999, I was already working at a small mortgage brokerage firm in Concord, CA. In the span of my 17 year career, I have originated all types of mortgage loans from Conventional, FHA/VA/USDA, Jumbo, to even commercial lending. Today, my main focus is to help guide first time buyers through the process of purchasing their very first home, and lower current home owners payments through a refinance.
