I have dealt with your company a few times over the last 'Many Years' and never been disappointed... and because of that have always come to your store first when shopping for any 'flooring'. My most recent dealing began with Scott Crawford - April 28th. We are totally renovating a condo that we are planning to sell and needed new flooring throughout. He was able to come to the condo that very day. He measured it and gave me a quote for the total main floor to do Laminate. Then we had to do the second floor with Carpet and Lino. I got the same prompt service with the quote. The flooring is all now complete and I am totally happy with the service I received again. That includes the price & quality of the flooring as well as the service from the installer of the laminate flooring and the installer for the carpet and lino, and the friendly and professional treatment I received every time I came into your store from every employee.
I have and will continue to recommend your business.

Recently had some flooring (appr 700 sq ft) upgraded in our home. We had quotes from 3 companies and End of the Roll Penticton was the best. Altho they did not have the product we wanted in stock they found it, special ordered it and installed it. The experience from beginning to end was very pleasant. The installer Kari was excellent, detail oriented and patient. He didn't rush anything, cleaned everything up and after 4 days we were more than pleased that we had chosen End of The Roll Penticton. The price they quoted was indeed the end price. We have worked with other companies in the past and the final invoice was sometimes a bad surprise. Only surprise this time was how easy it was to work with Jason and his team. We would highly recommend End of The Roll Penticton.

My partner and I are absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism and accountability by this store! The installation was sub par and now they have walked off the job, leaving it completely unfinished and left damage to the walls for us to fix. They required half of payment. The owner called two meetings and failed to show up for either one! Leaving my partner waiting for the owner to no avail. Who does that? Calls a meeting, twice, and doesn't bother to call or email to inform? Not to mention the loss of wages to wait for a no-show owner?! Disgraceful at best! They have no qualified installers, so not only do they provide unprofessional front staff, they can't install properly and walk off the site with absolutely no recourse! A terrible establishment to deal with!

Absolutely terrible installation of 1' x 2' vinyl tiles. They sent a two man crew, boss and helper, boss buggers off after about an hour of a two day job and helper does the whole install. To say that he didn't know what he was doing would be an understatement. I'd relate all the back and forth between myself and End of the Roll reps except you'd be reading for hours.
The way this outfit works is, they make you pay for half of the job up front which pays them (the store) for materials including mark-up. So, if the installers screw up the job and the customer complains and refuses to pay until it's done right they don't care. They've been paid, installers haven't, and the customer sits and waits eternally I guess. Business couldn't be better.
I suppose the only thing that will get their attention is a lawsuit. By the way, our installation was in Jan/14 and it's now July

Be warned that the 3-1/2" flooring that end of the roll is carrying is NOT all birch. The box is labled in such a way to give the impression that you are using Birch but it is not.

The flooring is also of different widths across the grain as much as 1/16" and will have to be re-sawn. What I mean in layman terms is that the ends of the boards will not match-up making for uneven spacing on the next run.
At most I would get half a box of usable product out of the box.
I have an entire house that I installed the flooring in. About 1300-sq/ft. and have had to re-saw and top-nail most of it in order to use it.
This is supposed to be a top quality pre-finished flooring.

I had the Flooring Rep from the flooring manufacturer (Strategis Floor and Deco from Edmonton) look at it and he would not comment on the species of wood only to say I should have stopped and then started giving excuses about shipping containers and other storage issues that might have caused the issues rather than admiting that what I recieved was what ever they could pass off as Birch from China.

Their Rep said he would bring my concerns to the attention of his manager. I was contacted about a week later and told that they would nothing to compensate us.

We have over $5000.00 dollars of wood flooring that I will have to have sanded and refinished at some point at an additional cost.

I contacted End-Of-The-Roll in Penticton several times asking for help and recieved non other than a few extra boxes to finish the last room and a phone number to thier installer who basically told me, Quote " Your having problems with the flooring arn't you.) He even admitted that there was problems with the wood.

I contacted other installers in Penticton for help but non wanted anything to do with the product.

I really thought the Owner of End-of-The Roll in Penticton would have stepped in to help us but I can only assume he has no interest in his Customers or what he sells as long as it sells.
The only person that I can say that did anything was his Manager and his hands were tied I'm sure.

Any questions?
Come and look at it.
