After Graduating of the well known university “AI Miami International University of Art and Design” she obtained a BA in fine Arts and began her training in one of the most well known Residential interior Design companies in south Florida as part of the Design Team leading designs for international luxury condominiums, domestic private properties as well as upscale offices.After working and having increased her experience in the art of designinig for several years she decided that it was time for her to do a Masters, at the “Florence Design Academy” were she obtained a degree in Architectural interior Design, in what better place than the epicentre of design Florence, Italy. She attended to several trade design shows like the Cersaie in Bolognia and the Salone internazionale Del mobile in Milano and many more.After finishing Andrea Mejia Decided to move back to Miami, She was hired for one of the award winning and most well known Commercial companies in South Florida and the United States, forming part of the Interior Design department and team. She has worked on diverse Hospitality projects in south Florida, the Caribbean and the Middle East as well as LED Certified “Green” oversees projects.Andrea Mejia has diverse portfolio icluding private practices, restaurants, bar lounges and luxurious condominiums in south Florida and in South America.Classic simplicity with an unexpected, modern flair.
