Killarney Kanoes

When I emailed in advance to inquire about kayak/canoe rental, the response was quick and helpful. At arrival they had a lot of kayaks and canoes that looked very new and sturdy. Also you can buy your parking permit at the same time, which makes it very convenient. The employees prepare your kayak/canoe by the dock ready for your departure. Overall, I had a great experience in renting with Killarney Kanoes.

We rented a canoe pack from Killarney Kanoes that broke (due to corroded metal). This happened on our 2nd day (into a 7 day canoe trip). When returned to Killarney Kanoes, instead of apologising for sending us into the back country with a faulty pack, they demanded that we buy the pack. They claimed the pack was brand new despite obvious wear-and-tear (ie the duct tape "repairing" holes of what was supposed to be a watertight pack).
Overall I would suggest never renting anything from Killarney Kanoes.
