Just switched from Bell because I moved and no longer face the proper direction for a satellite. Had to call Rogers 6 times within the first 10 days of service and they still can't get figure out what's going on. They can't even figure out which address they are sending the services to and I've had to call multiple times for the same issue. (And there are many.) Avoid Rogers unless you want to waste hours upon hours of your time trying to get them to do their job properly. I also now have a looming, extremly high, incorrect bill to deal with as well. That's the next battle.

I have been a Rogers customer since 2002. I have Rogers digital cable, a cell phone and high speed internet for my home. I have to say that in the last 7 years, I have had great customer service. Yesterday I had a problem with my Rogers on demand and had to call customer service and my rep made sure that everything was fixed..I was watching my movie within 5 min :) I also received a message on my cell phone today letting me know that my On Demand service was fixed. How nice is that!
About a month ago I had to update my My 5 from local to long distance and my rep took care of everything..she was great...and so far I have never had a problem with my internet.

My only complaint is that the Nokia N95 8GB is $249.00! and that's if I sign on for another 3 year contract ekkk. I sooooo can't afford that. I don't mind signing up for another 3 years.. I have no intention of ever leaving but with all of the rogers services that I have.. I think Rogers should reward it's long time customers with a better price on phone ugrades. :)

For the most part rogers is a great company i know because i have services with rogers and even worked there. Rogers recently launched a plan where you could recieve a FREE phone and possibly more then one at a time, but is it really free? it's called "HOGO, BOGO" (have one got one or buy one get one)but how does this mean its free? i mean you have to either have a phone already to get the second phone and even then with a SAF fee also known as a system activation fee of $35.00 plus your monthly service fees i don't quite see how these phones are free. Then there's the whole buy one get one crap okay why can't i just get the damn phone free like i was told. If anything rogers just knows how to word things to scam people. like come on. Oh and the phone that's soo hot right now isn't even available in canada you know the popular i phone course its not rogers fault but why did i settle for an upgrade on my phone only to return it to the store because it stopped working. Oh and rogers is so great they came up with this whole "courtesy phine service" which is if your phone malfunctions they'll at least give you a crusty and cheesy phone to use in the maen time. Hmmm so explain why i took my phone back only for them to give me a courtesy phone that could make or recieve calls (so what was the point of the phone) and when i got my bill they charged me $400.00 for an "upgrade" LOL if anything rogers shouldn't be called rogers communications because you can't communicate it should be called rogers lack of quality service. Now i did say that rogers was and is a good company right? well thats only for cable services except the fact that basic cable is almost $40.00 and just to get channels 1-91 thats $60.00 or more HEY i thought uncle ted wasn't always rich but i guess he just knows how to steal from the poor. Wow what money does to people isn't it great?

they are a terrible company, and you seem to agree...so why did they get five stars?

Wow, what an experience you've had with Rogers. I, myself did not have a good experience with Roger's when I dealt with their 1-800 customer service line but when I dealt locally, wow, a complete 360 dgree turnaround.
I'm really sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience.

nothing in this world is free but this review is more then whats free and whats not its about whats right and stealing from hard working people is wrong so its to think twice about the things you purchase because in this case you'll get more then you bargained for.

Hey, the only thing free in this world is opinions on N49!

i have a feeling there is a bit of confusion going on here .. the stars are not for judging the review (there are votes for that), the stars are to represent the company' performace .. you are not happy with them so you should give them few stars ... again this is not to judge the review itself :-)
