BED BUGS !!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS LONG BUT A MUST READ AND A WARNING TO ALL CABIN CAMPERS/ CUSTOMER SEVICE FEEDBACK

To start off our weekend I was extremely worried initially when my friend told us we were staying in cabins. The cabins are not the cleanest in my opinion. Then the fist night I was woken up by a bug, initally I thought they were ticks, my boyfriend and I were very grossed out and scared becuase, we knew that ticks embed into skin. At 3am we found of selves driving down lundys lane to find a hotel to shower and sleep in for the remainder of the night, ending up paying a $100 to have a shower and sleep for 5 hours....In the morning we returned to clear out our belonging and inform the front office. I was very greatful for the money return since you have a policy for no refunds on early departures. We later determied that morning we were sleeping with bed bugs (I have never been so grossed out in my life) we continued our lovely morning by throwing out many of our belongings including;

A brand new double high airbed (first time using it that weekend -a christmas present)
Two comforters
Two pillows
Sheet and pillow case set

As I was discusted, I was worried about having these discusting bugs in my clothes, we did research and learned to kill them you must wash all of your clothes in hot water and dry on high heat. I did this at the camppark bc I didnt want to risk bringing them into my home.

We used to be very regular campers and enjoyed spending all of our long weekend at camppark. We are however disappointed will not be returning as we have suffered extra cost at a minimum of $300 due to replacment and sterilization costs with no compensation. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR FAULT.

To say i was mad is an understatment it gave me so much axiety and stress for the past Several weeks I've been continuously afraid that ive brought them home depite all my efforts of discarding items and cleaning vigerously .

After waiting serval weeks for a call and a response to our email i decided to call. I spoke with Ronda who was frankly rude about the situation and didn't sympathize at all. She was rude and short.

Ronda told me they had an exterminator in and they said there were no bed bugs! I find that very hard to believe due to that fact that I SAW them !! Also friends of mine seen them, my boyfriend and a camp park resorts staff. I ALSO HAVE PHOTO EVIDENCE!!!! She told me that the park went and bought bug bombs and bombed all the cabins, if they were clean why would they endure extra costs???? she told me because they wanted to get rid of oter bugs etc…Makes no sense…..( checked my house, and found nothing, they didn't come from my place) she also told me they they wouldn't be able to survive over the winter in the cabin (she has no idea what she is talking about). I did extensive research and they can survive for long periods of time in cold temperature and without biting a human.

At the end of the conversation she hung up on me.

I would like to see the exterminators report.

I used to enjoy coming her until everyone became bitter and rude.
