Tanya was a great host and very helpful when we had some issues with the underbelly on our 5th wheel.
Very friendly and no doubt deserves a raise for going tge distance
Her boss should be proud
Thank you again Tanya

Our experience at this park as a customer and a fellow Rv park owner was nothing but Great! The restrooms were clean as was the grounds. We saw the maintenance workers there working from early morning till night. Tania the park manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with! We would definitely stay there again! This is a park where customers are staying the night on their way thru or for a week to visit the area. This is not an Resort but it is a safe and secure place to stay. I think that some of the reviews are from people expecting more!

Would not recommend. We arrived at the normal hour of 17:00 o’clock. There was no one in sight, tried calling and took a long time for somebody to answer. The women was very rude on the phone.

Camping spots are very close together. You need to pay $3 to have a shower (which was fine with us) the only thing is that you need to buy tokens at the office which closes at 15:00 o clock.

We only stayed for one night and we would not have stayed more than that. For one night it is alright I guess but definitely would not stay longer than that!!!

Beside a busy road and railroad track. trains run all night - so take ear plugs with you.
Campsite full, RV pplots too small and owners have packed in as many as possible. In my opinion having a fire pit here would be dangerous.
Dog run - well it's a bit of scrub land really!
Wifi OK.
Facilities/washrooms not that good - could do with some maintenance/updating. Doors/locks broken, toilets/showeres out of order. Would not stay here again.

I have read some of the reviews. Not all true.

3.00 for a wash its 6-12 in town at laundry matt.
3.00 for a shower its 12.00 at the truck stops and 5.00 at the YMCA
The park is very well kept but staff, staff can not always be responsible for messy guests. The roads are gravel kamloops is a desert so seems appropriate to me. Hwy noise is low after about 10pm. And I for one find the noise of the train soothing.
The price is a bit less then other rv parks in Kamloops. Has many amenities and fun things to do near by. I highly recommend having a stay.

The campground is not well kept and has no fire pits. $3 for a 15 minute shower and you need tokens, the office doesn't always have them available. It's overpriced for what you get. Spots are small and hardly any shade. The site that I thought had full hookups when I booked online only has water and power. I would not recommend this campground unless you're planning on just one night.

Worst campsite. If you like highway noise n train running by every 30mins, this the place for you. If you want to shower, $3 will get you 15 mins shower, but theresacatch, you need to purchase coins at office when its open. Can't get shit after hours. Most of the site are seasonal that locals rent since its cheaper than renting a place. Will not recommend this place

Wanted to fill a 200 liter potable water tank and was willing to pay. The attendant wasn't in the office. When I called the number on the door of the office, the person on the other end flat out told me no their water bills from the city were getting too expensive. What part of willing to pay didn't she understand? It really seemed like she couldn't be bothered to come back to the office.

Should be 3 1/2 stars. A bit pricy but not as bad as some. Tight spacing. Lots of long term residents which I guess people need. But would be better if regular campers were in one area and long-term another.

Found the manager very friendly and helpful . The washrooms were clean, showers by tokens but affordable and clean. Convenient location, close to town and right beside wildlife park ( which you get a discount for). Dog friendly……bonus! Very affordable prices compared to other R.V Parks and considering the the cost off everything these days. Had family visiting. They will definitely stay at this park again.

Adequate for overnight stay. The site was a long enough pull-thru for our motorhome and tow. Full 50 amp hook-up. There was trash on the site including an empty beverage can on the picnic table.

If you've ever dreamed of stepping out of your trailer door and being able to touch the trailer beside you, this is the place. No room to set up your chairs or have a fire. First night we arrived just before 4pm and the office was already closed. Had an awful sleep due to being able to hear every single truck and semi passing on the highway. Moved sites for the second night, and got the pleasure of waking up at 4:45am on a Saturday to the sound of multiple residents starting their loud diesel trucks. Lucky for us, our stay ended up being free due to the huge tree branch that snapped off during a flash windstorm and came down on top of our truck, leaving a huge dent on the roof. I would have enjoyed my stay more in a Walmart parking lot than being in this park.

Showed up after hours and still found a spot. Well located and able to accommodate to my needs. Definitely recommend.

Rundown and dirty. The power kept going out. Too many grubby full time campers in the park. Would only stay here as a last resort. The wifi does work well

A bit if a gong show. You can't reserve online. You have to download and fill out a form. We supposedly had reserved a pull-through. Upon arrival, the office is closed. Our site was posted on a board. Not pull-through and there was someone in our spot!

Nice campground. Sites were fairly level & close together . We were only there one night. Restrooms were closed in May. Location was convenient. Best thing was the wildlife park next door. Definitely worth the visit!

The staff gossip about other guests, even the one nighters. Alot. The electrical is sub standard and shuts off frequently. The 'playground' is laughable. The owner won't put a dime into repairs or improvements and barely maintains the grounds. The year round tenants are spoken to and treated like garbage.
The FB photos are very old and show a pleasant environment which is absolutely not the case anymore. The only good thing about it, is that it is relatively close to Kamloops. So, no, I absolutely do not recommend this sorry excuse for a 'park'.

This campground needs a lot of care and attention. Overgrown with weeds and messy sites that appear to be occupied by long term tenants. No grass except for right by the office. Although we were told the bathrooms are closed, it is really unclear as to why. Their reason is the pandemic but that seems to be an old excuse. Only pay night to night as they will not refund you if plans change or the smoky conditions make you sick and you have to head home early. If you can find somewhere else to stay, I’d try that first. Only redeeming quality for us was 30 amp service and decent wifi. Fifteen km’s to nearest fast food but not too far to a nice little grocery store, liquor store and pub.

I am extremely appreciated by reserving 2 sites for my Motohome +a small trailer at the very last minute of the last day on long weekend even without taking any credit card deposit, thank you so much for the trust! We will be back for sure! Highly appreciated!

It is an RV Park not a camp site - basically a mini trailer park. My expectations were just that and met. Power, cable, wifi, water, and sewer hook ups right outside the door and easily accessible. Friendly staff, clean environment, and very low traffic considering. Not my idea of camping - but my views are different than the other reviews lol It serves its purpose as an affordable place to stay with the comforts of home away from home. Would stay here again.

My experience at Kamp loos RV Park.
1. The spaces are very small.
2. Gravel camping.
3. The drainage is too far away so you will need a loooooong hose.

On the positive.
- the staff is very friendly
- The showers and washrooms are very clean
- There's a zoo next door
- Many winneries really closeby
